292 Tasting Notes
Mini-donuts, yes. I am going to have to agree with that review, because that is exactly what this tea tastes like to me. It’s delicious, and I am so glad that I ordered it because I need caffeine-free teas for nighttime. I didn’t think I liked herbal teas, but these last two have impressed me SO much.
I would definitely order this again, but now I want to try more herbals!
Preparation
I do quite enjoy this tea, but I find the flavor to be a little weak. It’s tasty, I like the bit of sweetness and really like that the salt keeps it from being overly sweet… but I wish there was a bit more actual caramel flavor. It’s tasty, though. I just don’t think I’d buy it.
Preparation
Have you tried Gold Rush? The mulberries I find are really similar to a caramel taste. I preferred that over Salted Caramel. But I don’t have much of a sweet tooth so once I’d tried Mulberry Magic – I preferred that over Gold Rush. Though I’d recommend them both :)
Those two are on my list! I don’t eat any sweets at all, so it’s nice to drink something that tastes like dessert sometimes… but sometimes, they are just too much. I was thinking Mulberry Magic sounded great, for that reason. But dang, mulberries are expensive!
Haha I know! That’s actually why I preferred Mulberry Magic over Gold Rush – it was slightly less sweet (and slightly less expensive). The scent is MUCH sweeter than the actual tea I found for both. If you’d like I could spare about 3-4 cups worth of Mulberry Magic :)
This is really tasty! Cinnamon hearts are my favorite candy, and that’s exactly what this tea smells like. I am just finishing up my first mug, and I don’t think I’ll have time to re-steep… but I am looking forward to drinking more of this in the future. So glad to have more delicious green teas, since green tea is my tea of choice.
EDIT: It is possible that this tea tastes even better as it cools. Holy yum, cinnamon candy.
Preparation
I did a good job choosing teas. Or you guys all do a fantastic job of reviewing them, so I know exactly what I’m ordering.
This is another win. I love the tartness and sweetness, and the creaminess from the yogurt is amazing. It seriously tastes like I am drinking a big mug of strawberry rhubarb pie. I will enjoy the shit out of my 50g bag of this.
Can I say ‘shit’ on here? I tend to be somewhat inappropriate…
Preparation
Haha, good! I don’t know what I’d do if I was banned from steepster. None of my real-life friends care what teas I’m drinking on a daily basis. :P
Okay. So, I really like this. A lot.
It’s sweet, a little creamy and chocolate-y, but that’s subtle. And the anise brings a bit of spice. It’s not dull, but it’s also not overwhelmingly flavorful. It’s just a nice, quiet, delicious cup of tea.
Preparation
I don’t know… I don’t really see what all the fuss is about with this one. I do really enjoy dessert teas, I love Banana Dream Pie, but this just isn’t exciting to me. It’s very tasty, and I will have no trouble drinking the rest of the small sample I got from my friend, but I don’t think I’d order this one.
EDIT: I might like the second steep more. The flavor is more subtle, but still sweet and yummy.
Preparation
I have to hold off on rating this one… I took it to work in my go-cup, and while I enjoyed it tremendously (especially the smell, oh my GOD), I feel I should wait to give it a rating until I’ve prepared it properly, in my perfect mug.
But I did drink this today, and thought it was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to have more.
Preparation
Currently drinking the second steep of this one, and it was delicious. First steep was considerably better, but the second steep still has some of that wonderful roasty raspberry almond flavor. I generally don’t drink a whole lot of caffeine, but I would consider ordering this for days when I need a bit of a boost.
