687 Tasting Notes
Happy Spring! This weekend, I went to a gem and mineral show, and a chocolate festival. Picked up this tea on the way home. More of a summer fruit, but I like blueberries. It has a nice berry scent. The flavour is a mildly sweet blueberry. Simple, but very good.
Will have to try it iced soon.
Flavors: Berries, Blueberry
So, I am finally watching all the (on DVD) Star Wars movies in order. Today is ‘Revenge of the Sith’. Not sure if they have currants in a galaxy far, far, away. Haven’t much in the way of currants, except in scones. Anyway, certainly smells nice. Like a cross between dark berries and raisins. The flavour is similar, but a little on the sour side.
Alright, but there are better fruit flavours.
Flavors: Berries, Berry, Raisins
Cranberries are good during winter, though I usually like them in pastries. There is a cranberry and raspberry scent, reminds me a little of juice. The flavour is somewhat tart, a bit sweet, and mostly berry. Good with rooibos cookies.
Flavors: Berry, Cranberry, Raspberry
“15 miles to the Love Shack” Okay, the name does make me think of the song. Got the tea from the local shop because it smelled really good. There is mostly a chocolate scent, and more mild on the cherry. The sprinkles are a nice touch. It has a good creamy chocolate flavour, and there is some fruit. Mostly sweet, and makes me think of dessert.
May or may not have a tin roof.
Flavors: Cherry, Chocolate, Creamy
Post breakfast while watching The Paradise. There is a nice scent of bergamot and other fruit. Perhaps grapefruit. The flavour is a bright citrus.
It would be good with cookies.
Flavors: Bergamot, Citrus, Cookie, Lemon, Orange
Found this while I was out doing errands. It smells really nice, a bit creamy. The flavour is a good, creamy vanilla. Tastes a little like ice cream or cookies. Went well with my caramel chocolate. (Going to make another cup while watching Death Note.)
Flavors: Cookie, Creamy, Vanilla
Not the right season, but I am watching an anime about werewolves. It smells so nicely like blueberries. A little a berry fruit leather at first. There is a scent of chocolate too. I like little Force ghosts, I mean ghost sprinkles. The flavour is a sweet blueberry, with some creamy chocolate. Sorta liked those chocolate covered dried fruits. Very good.
Flavors: Berry, Blueberry, Chocolate, Cocoa, Creamy
Meant to have this around X-Mas, but it got kinda misplaced. Well, it’s still winter. I like the white chocolate chips. It smells creamy, with spices. Nutmeg comes out more in the flavour. Otherwise, it has a cream-like taste. Okay, but it might be better cold.
Flavors: Cream, Creamy, Nutmeg, Spices, White Chocolate
Sipdown. The sample was too small. Wish I could get more. This tea still smells awesome. Has a very nice chocolate scent. And it’s a bit nutty too. There is a good cocoa and nut flavour. With a bit of toasted rice, which comes out more as it cools.
Having another cup while reading Discworld novels.
Flavors: Chocolate, Cocoa, Nuts, Nutty, Toasted Rice
Liquid Proust was looking at the possibility of blending something similar to this in 2016. You may want to watch or ask him about it.
It’s listed as one of his projects in this thread. I too love it and would like something similar. :))
