2317 Tasting Notes
TTB sample! I usually drink fruit teas cold, but I tried a bit of this warm and thought the candylike cherry was quite pleasant. I had the rest cold, and it got a little too tart for me, and some less wonderful flavors pushed their way in. It also seemed thinner and just all around less special.
This one smells way too vegetal for me, but I’m hoping the flavor will be different. I’m drinking this cold, and I only taste vanilla/cream flavor with just a bit of a plant flavor in the background. It tastes way better than I imagined, but it’s a bummer that the grapefruit doesn’t come through at all. I shared the cup with someone else who agreed about the flavor. Nice cream flavoring though.
I’m sure I’ve tried this one before, but it looks like there’s no review from me on here. I grabbed a single teabag of this from the last TTB. This gets terrible reviews, but I actually like it. It doesn’t quite reach caramel or shortbread, but it does taste pleasantly desserty with some milk and sugar.
This tastes like many other cherry teas I’ve tried. It doesn’t taste like cherries specifically, more like cherry candy. It’s a bit tart. It’s okay cold, just a bit fake tasting and not that delicious, really almost medicinal. I wouldn’t want another cup, but it was still fun to try from getanzt!
Thanks to getanzt for this one! This is tart and a bit interesting. It has a little bit of spice and a tartness that isn’t overly sour. I drank this cold. Some sips are more intriguing than others. I find myself wavering between wishing for future cups and finding this unremarkable.
