2302 Tasting Notes
This tastes like many other cherry teas I’ve tried. It doesn’t taste like cherries specifically, more like cherry candy. It’s a bit tart. It’s okay cold, just a bit fake tasting and not that delicious, really almost medicinal. I wouldn’t want another cup, but it was still fun to try from getanzt!
Thanks to getanzt for this one! This is tart and a bit interesting. It has a little bit of spice and a tartness that isn’t overly sour. I drank this cold. Some sips are more intriguing than others. I find myself wavering between wishing for future cups and finding this unremarkable.
Sample from the last TTB. The black tea here is a little bitter and not high quality. The pineapple is pretty pleasant, but I don’t really taste any coconut. I shared this tea with someone else who really enjoyed it. It was pleasant cold, but not my favorite pina colada tea I’ve tried recently.
This is pretty malty and nice with some milk and sugar. I’m enjoying it warm! I would drink this one again, though I wouldn’t buy it specifically. Glad I got to try it from the last TTB!
Sample from a TTB. This one is quite nutty and a little smoky. I feel like it reminds me of a toned down version of their chestnut tea, though it’s been many years since I’ve had that one. It’s decent with some milk and sugar, but I think I prefer their chestnut blend because I enjoy its boldness, and I don’t love the extra bit of smoke found here (though that flavor could be my imagination).
Inkling Advent Day 25. I’m really going to miss opening these teas from Inkling each morning! I got to try so many new things, and so many desserty teas in particular, I’m so thankful! I love rooibos, so this was a great way to finish the season. The gingerbread flavor is a bit more muted than I would prefer, but I could definitely tell what it was going for. It was nice sweetened with milk. This particular rooibos wasn’t my favorite, but it was fun and festive! For some reason, I found the rebrew to be much tastier and more gingerbready. Basically exactly what I was looking for from the first steep!
