Kelmishka Homemade Advent Day 24! This may be my favorite S&V tea. I have a whole bag of it on my shelf now, and I’m always happy to have a cup of this one! The baked cinnamon flavor is so great. It’s so desserty and cookie-like. I enjoy it sweetened at room temperature. The resteep is excellent as well.
S&V Advent Day 22! I love British puddings, so I’ve been eager to try this one for years. Unfortunately, the flavor is mostly floral. There might be a bit of vanilla in the aftertaste, which is nice. Nothing about it tastes like any pudding I’ve ever had. The base is decent, but the strong floral flavor is so out of place for the name of the tea.
S&V Advent Day 21! This one was on my wishlist, so I was excited to see it! Hmm this is a little bitter and meh. I don’t taste a lot of gingerbread flavor in there. It’s just black tea and slight bitterness. I taste some really light spices, but this needs a whole lot more molasses and ginger.
Kelmishka Homemade Advent Day 21! I enjoyed this one when I originally received it in my subscription, and my feelings have remained mostly the same. I wouldn’t really call this chai, but I taste a lot of coconut and creaminess on top of a high quality black base. I like it best cold with milk and sugar. Ha, rereading my previous note, I wrote almost the exact same thing.
Kelmishka Homemade Advent Day 18! This is one of my favorite teas from S&V, but it’s been years since I’ve ordered it. It’s just as good as I remembered! It’s so rich and desserty! It’s great with almond milk and sugar. I love how strong and nutty it is with that perfect rooibos base.
Kelmishka Homemade Advent Day 17! This is fruity and desserty and smooth. I definitely taste something more than just the fruit. I wouldn’t say eclair specifically, but something creamy and custardy sounds right. I like it best cold with milk and sugar. This is one of the best DbD teas I’ve tried! The resteep tasted the same as the first. The aftertaste is tangy and fruity in just the right way. I appreciate how different this is from other fruity teas I’ve had.
