2302 Tasting Notes
This tastes a bit like sugar cookie sleigh ride from Celestial Seasonings, which I was glad to find a box of this holiday season after a few years without. I’m kind of obsessed with how sparkly this tea is. It also tastes somewhat like the various forever nuts spinoffs. Not bad, just not special, and a little weak. Pleasant with milk and sugar overleafed.
I couldn’t remember exactly what this tea was called, so in my notes I have it written as “stalactites” which isn’t the furthest off! It’s lightly fruity and a little coconutty. I love a lemongrass-heavy tea. It’s really refreshing cold! I remove the butterfly pea flower so I don’t have to taste that flavor. Frustratingly, the coconut is starting to turn already.
I wouldn’t have guessed this was supposed to be lemonade. It’s not tart at all, more soft and desserty. I made sure to pay attention in my final cup, and I definitely got a green mango sort of vibe, though I wouldn’t have minded if it had veered more toward ripe mango.
I definitely taste the marshmallow! It’s pillowy and nice. My second cup of this was a little average. I think you need to drink this one cold to appreciate it. I refrigerated my final cup overnight, and it was creamy and pleasant with a lot of black tea shining through as well.
I was staying with a family friend in NY for the eclipse, and they had this local tea, which I tried a cup of. It was a little sour/tart and thin. Not bad cold and sweetened, but not great. The ingredient list is a little too straightforward for my general tastes though.
This is quite fake tasting, but not bad cold. I taste a pretty even mix of peach and raspberry flavoring, but I would have preferred more of a fresh flavor combo.
Though I didn’t love this tea at first, I think paying better attention to my steeping parameters has really helped me appreciate it. I do sort of get a Biscoff vibe from this! I guess it’s not named Biscoff anymore, but my bag from May of 2023 still says that. It tastes cookie-ish and nicely desserty with milk and sugar. Not bad at all!
