1113 Tasting Notes
I’m feeling kind of pitiful today so I decided to try my first guayusa! This was a sample I got with my most recent Butiki order. Seems a bit inappropriate to be drinking a tea with morning in the name in the afternoon, but oh well. This tea has a very pleasant lemon/lemongrass flavor with an extra “grassy” kick which I have to assume is the guayusa. I am enjoying it and would consider ordering it in the future! I hope this perks me up before my boxing class after work :)
Jasmine pearls are pretty much my favorite tea of all time. This is my first time trying them from Butiki. SO GOOD!!!!
I really really want to buy tea from Butiki but I can’t – I’m abstaining from buying any for a while D: Seeing everyone’s reviews is making it very hard for me ._.

Thanks for the sample yssah! I think my milk oolong got infected with cherry flavoring from another sample tea. When I opened my swap package everything was SO CHERRY smelling. So far none of the ones I have tasted have seemed infected but I am definitely getting a cherry note from this oolong. It is tasty though! :)
I have SO many new teas and samples right now it was so hard to choose my morning tea today! Not a bad problem to have mind you ;)
Anyway, this is really hitting the spot this morning. I am getting more coconut flavor than anything else, but I’m really liking it! Its subtle but not in a bad way. Nice and creamy too. Thanks for the swap Yssah!
