Carbolic Soap has crazy levels of aftertate/huigan. It is three times more potent sitting in your mouth than actually drinking it. The flavors are haw flakes candy, fruit leather, floral, tobacco, and stone fruits, with a crazy aftertaste of stone fruit.

Censers has an excellent thick texture with notes of honey, floral, hay, coconuts, and bran. It is a delicate steeper, so it will go bitter on you if you are not careful.

I regret not buying this tea sooner. It is a unique white tea with notes of floral, grass, peaches, herbs, melon, aloe, and pine, with later infusions getting dark and malty. It has a thick thick texture and actually has a lingering aftertaste, aftertaste being something you don’t find in white teas that often.

Jingmai 3 Aroma is a vibrant, crisp vegetal, floral, and sweet white tea. It is delicate AF and doesn’t resteep that well as it is prone to getting very dry and bitter.

This one was my personal favorite of the Bitterleaf Teas’ Lao Man Es.

It is bitter like kale cabbage, but has a wonderful floral aftertaste and essence of stone fruit. It is likely too bitter for the uninitiated into bitter shengs, but is my choice as the Bitter End Lite brick lacks the aftertaste, and Xtra Bitter End is like drinking aspirin.

I got 18 infusions out of my session of Jade Rabbit. This sheng leans fruity sweet with plenty of energy. The tea nerdy interest of this tea is the fact it was blended per cake basis, so in theory got truer interpretation of the maocha blend and consistency.

I am drinking 2017 Impression very young, with it being released just a few months ago. It is balanced, yet bitter, pungent, and astringent with a nice kick of tea energy. There are notes of stone fruit but mostly bitter bitter bitter. It does taste great in silver, bringing out the fruity floral and numbing the bitter. Overall a great price and a tea you should stash to age or drinking in silver.

Sweet Clarity is a light tasting sheng, leaning sweet and vegetal. The main feature of this tea is the powerful aftertaste that is of honey and wildflowers. The energy is relaxing and calming.

Nice clean dry storage on this middle aged Jingmai. It has notes of honey, herbs, and tobacco, all while smelling like an antique store. It does get bitter in the final infusions.
