292 Tasting Notes
I had this one for breakfast yesterday, mixed with a little of Della Terra’s Blueberry Crumble. YUM. This is a great blend, I might drink it like this from now on.
However, this tea on it’s own makes for a much better cup of breakfast tea. Together, they take on the dessert-y flavor that Della Terra is better known for.
Preparation
Catching up with the teas I’ve been drinking the last couple of days. I had this one the other day mixed with a tiny bit of Vanilla Orchid, and it was so yummy. The vanilla was a perfect complement to the floral-y grape flavor. So delicious!
Preparation
I had two delicious steeps of this tea this afternoon. It tastes a lot like Copabanana to me, which is definitely not a bad thing. I had a $10 off coupon with Teavana, so I got a few herbal blends to try out. So far, I’m quite enjoying them.
Preparation
I haven’t had butter in a long time, I haven’t bought it in years. But for some reason, this tea tastes like burnt butter to me. It’s not really bad, I enjoy drinking the cup, but it’s not fruity to me at all and I’m left feeling like it’s not doing for me what it seems to be doing for everyone else.
Sigh. I don’t dislike it, but there are teas I much prefer, and it may end up in my swap tin.
Preparation
Ahhhh, hello, beautiful.
Grey day here, and I was stuck unable to work because of the loud noise of the shop vac in my apartment. So I enjoyed an afternoon of drinking my monsterful ‘tea-na colada’.
You should probably make this immediately.
Preparation
This one is interesting. It’s beautiful, especially after cold-brewing for a few hours. Hot, it tasted primarily of peach to me, and was very flavorful and juicy. I haven’t finished off my cold-brewed jar, but the sip I had was very tasty, refreshing and sweet.
Definitely not on my reorder list, but it’s a fun tea.
Preparation
Finally finished off my sample of this tea.
It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s fine… I like the smokiness and the burnt kind of marshmallow-y flavor, and the graham cracker is perfect. But the smell reminds me of my farm, and I am finding more and more that Della Terra blends are very hit and miss for me. This one is a bit of a miss, but I appreciate why others might really enjoy it. It’s definitely s’mores-y.
Preparation
This is so blueberry-y! This is more the kind of blueberry flavor I was expecting from Blueberry Crumble, but did NOT get. I can see this tea being fantastic in the morning, it just feels like breakfast.
I don’t get a whole lot of pastry or cream cheese flavor when it’s hot, but as it cools those notes are coming out a bit more. I added a splash of almond milk to the end of my last cup, and I do think that enhanced the danish part a bit more.
Second steep is still very flavorful, and with a toned-down berry flavor, it has a bit more of the pastry kind of taste I was expecting.
I think this one might actually be really good mixed with Blueberry Crumble…
Preparation
Yum, yum, yum.
I think I prefer White Christmas, but I am loving this blend, as well. It’s a bit sweeter, since it has spearmint instead of peppermint, but the mint is still a subtle, refreshing flavor. It does have the same wonderful creaminess that White Christmas has, and I am a fan of the green tea base.
The only sad part about these lovely 52teas blends is that I can’t order them whenever I want them. Pout.
