I grabbed a bag of this from a tea box, and it tastes way better than I expected. The fruit is nice and light, and the oolong isn’t really noticeable. The peach flavoring is pretty authentic and tasty. It’s juicy and refreshing – I was impressed! I wouldn’t mind an herbal version of this at all.

We call Revolution “Truck Stop Tea” because it’s the brand of choice on the beverage service counter down at our local Flying J. I liked this one, too.

I’ve never noticed teas at truck stops before!! That’s fun that they have that as an option!

Many years ago I bought a box of this tea at a grocery store. I tried it and didn’t care for it, so I passed it on to tea friend Sandy, who was also the person who first told me about Steepster. She liked it!

Here I am about seven years later, maybe more, wondering if my tastes have changed enough to enjoy it. Revolution was having a BOGO on their White Pear so I added this to the cart, along with White Pomegranate.

I am happy I bought it because I do like it very much. I have tried it both hot and cold now and it is good both ways. It is fruity but the smokey oolong keeps it from being too sweet to me. The apricot flavor adds a depth and darkness to it that makes the peach taste better, too, in my opinion. Peach can be great or dodgy for me, it has to be just right.

The sachet looks like it makes about 12 ounces rather than the typical teabag 6-8. I resteeped it and mixed the two steeps in a larger pot and sipped on it as my dessert tea tonight. No, the tea was not my dessert. The tea went WITH my dessert. And rather like hobbits, that was first dessert. There will be a second and possibly a third dessert.

Haha, I like the way that hobbits do mealtimes (:

One review called this an “adult flavored fruit tea” and it’s pretty spot on. Got a bag from ggmathis and had to order a pack after trying it! Green oolongs with low levels of oxidization aren’t my thing, but I love the maltier ones that veer towards the black tea spectrum. That’s what they use as a base here. A little smoky with a hint of bitterness and absolutely 0 vegetal hues.

The aroma from the dry bags is strong. I left a sandwich bag with 4 in it inside the office kitchen cupboard, and now the entire office kitchen smells like sweet flowery stonefruits. Arguably better than the previous lingering aroma of jerky. The liquor smells fruity as well, but to a lesser extent, because the oolong is potent enough to take the edge off of it. On the first sip, the apricot is pungent on the tongue, followed by the light smoke of the oolong. Mmm. Very fond of this one for a casual cup to sip on throughout the day. Gotta say, though! it tastes better with the clean water at home instead of the water at work that contains so much iron that it stains whatever it sits in.

I need to retry this. I bought some early in my tea journey and didn’t care for it, and ended up giving it to a friend. (Sandy here on Steepster, who introduced me to Steepster.) i think I would like it now. And I think Harris Teeter carries it, or at least they used to carry it.

You know, other than our Flying J (we call this brand “truck stop tea”), I’m not sure I’ve seen whole boxes of this locally. Now I have an excuse for a Natural Grocers run!

I found some at a a Shell Gas Station. And I am so happy I did.

The dark oolong base of the Se Chung and Shui Xian is nice. You get the nice, smooth bamboo notes and smokey notes that you normally do from those teas. The peach and apricot are also nice, but a little too strong. Overall, this is a yan cha at its ideal flavor, perhaps closer to a Dan Cong, with the flavoring being a hint dominant.

I quite enjoyed it for a bagged tea. Some people might be dissuaded by the flavor and brisk tartness while some might like that aspect. In the end, I feel a little bit accomplished in finishing the quest in trying this tea.

A clean tasting oolong blend with peach, apricot and slight ginger aroma. Had it at PF Changs. Went pretty well with Chinese food. Normally fruit flavored tea taste or smells harsh, but this one had enjoyable peach/apricot aroma. Satisfactory.

Sorry to disappoint Ost, but I do not hate this tea at all. It’s really good! If I had any criticism it would be that I need more oolong taste from it. I also probably used too much water for the size of the sachet. However the peachy apricot goodness that shows up and lingers at the end of the sip is very pleasant and also subtle in a good way. Thanks Ost!

Bummer xD But hey, if you want more, let me know! I wasn’t a huge fan of that tea anyway :P

I drank this at PF Chang’s tonight. It’s OK. It started out earthly with light fruity flavors but as the pot sat the fruity began to take over in flavor. I don’t think that I live peach very much in my tea.

This fine oolong has a medium body with a cleansing finish. The peach and apricot in the blend provide a nice fruitiness to the tea, but it’s hard to pinpoint that is peach and apricot without reading the tea box. It’s mysterious in a way and I quite enjoy that. The safflower boosts the fruitiness while confusing the palate I think. Overall, I enjoyed this oolong and recommend it to whomever wants a soothingly original tea.
