737 Tasting Notes
So I am really picky on chai teas..I tend to like when they have a creamy flavor cause all the spices are overwhelming to me.I love Verdant’s chai tea(I forget the name but that’s the best loose leaf chai I’ve ever had)because it’s the perfect blend of flavors. I was hoping this tea would be similar to theirs but it wasn’t. The spices are sooo strong! Took me back for a second cause I wasn’t expecting it to be that strong! If you’re really into chai tea you would definitely like this but it’s just not for me!
Chai containing spices is usually boiled in a pan and then milk added. Try experimenting with smaller amounts of the tea, boiling it and then adding milk. Soy milk is fine if you can’t take cow’s milk. The result should be warming and nice accompaniment to swallowing pills.
Super disappointed by this tea! Got it a couple years back from a swap-thank God it was only enough for one sample cause I’d feel bad trying to find a home for that tea xD I drank it all but it wasn’t good.Didnt live up to the name at all :/ mainly just had a spinach/grassy green tea taste with a really bland pudding flavor.Wasnt even a creamy or strong pudding flavor. I don’t think it’s that the tea is too old or anything cause I have teas older than when I got this one and they taste like the day I got them. I just think it’s a weak tea! Would love to find a tea that tastes like rice pudding but this one really failed :/
Ahh I forgot I had this one! I wasn’t sure this would be as good since I had to do ketamine infusions this last week and ketamine tends to jack my taste buds up but today it’s not been so off. This is still delicious though. Think my taste buds are a lil still off cause I can’t taste the banana as well but I taste the butterscotch and walnut a lot. As well as the oolong.Was trying some new black teas yesterday and felt like the base overpowered everything-always good to drink a flavored tea that has a good balance of everything! Ugh I miss Butiki Teas!!
I got this last year when I visited the store in Chicago-other than visiting DavidsTea this was my favorite tea store I got to go to! Workers were so kind and helpful-they actually have me some tea for free!
I love the caramel flavor in this tea-what I don’t like so much is just the black tea base. I’m just not a big black tea fan-I’d rather stick with rooibos caramel teas than black caramel teas. If you know me you know I’m really picky with black teas-I just would rather have a caramel tea that overpowers the base tea. I guess that’s why I’m not such a fan. I really need to compare it to the salted caramel black Tea I got there as well. But yeah,over all this is one of the better caramel teas I’ve tried! If you aren’t super picky with black teas like me you’d probably love this tea!
Also I want to rate this tea as an 80 but since I’m on my iPhone it won’t let me be specific xD but to be clear-it’s better than a 79 xD and yes that one number makes all the difference to me rating it haha
I was pleasantly surprised by this tea-I was expecting it to just taste like rooibos but i can taste the toasted caramel flavor. It legit does taste like it sounds. You do get that slight woody rooibos flavor though. But overall it’s not bad! I don’t think the caramel is supposed to be super strong and sweet which makes sense but I like caramel teas that are strong and sweet so I don’t think this is for me-but glad I got to try it!
This tea smells amazing-love jasmine! The flavor is a pretty strong jasmine and a slight veggie taste to it which is kinda a turn off for me. Just not a fan of veggie flavors in teas still! But is definitely good. I’ll probably just not keep it though cause I have lots of good jasmine teas.

This tea smells like a beautiful combo of pineapples,coconut,mango,pina colada, and cream! I had high hopes for this tea so i was pretty disappointed when I tried it. It tasted like all of this episode falcors but just wayyy too sweet and overpowering! Hard for me to drink so this is a pass for me!

Was pretty hesitant about this tea cause usually David’stea puts way too many nuts inthekr teas and I love banana. But this surprised me! Really like it! This is actually a tea I got when I went to a DavidsTea store in person last year. Absolutely love that shop-wish there were some in Texas! Anyway I’m happy I took a chance with this tea! Kinda wish the banana flavor were stronger but it’s not…but still good!
