From Lupicia

STRAWBERRY & VANILLA is a superb green tea & matcha blend scented with tart strawberries and sweet vanilla. Brew it longer and try with milk. Its elegant, sweet fragrance is quite exquisite.

Thanks LiberTeas!

The dry leaf of this smells exactly like strawberry milkshake mix! Steeped, it smells less strong and I can mostly smell the green tea. The matcha in this cup has settled at the bottom so the liquid is a clear, light green. The taste is very pleasant – the strawberry and vanilla flavours are subtle but this is a very smooth, enjoyable cup with no grassiness that I sometimes get with greens.

I was craving strawberry ice cream for about a week now! I wasn’t able to get any either! So today, I whipped this up in my work mug. As my husband was driving me to work, I took a sip of this. OMG HEAVEN!! I was so giddy with excitement because I was having the strawberry ice cream I had been craving! Woo! This is absolutely delicious and hit the right spot. The amount of green tea matcha in it is perfect. Absolutely amazingly delicious!

This is a nicely flavored green. By that I mean I can still take the semi-sweet green tea taste and it’s accompanied with both strawberries which are both sweet and sour AND vanilla which adds a nice creaminess to it. This is nice.

This seemed like a good choice this morning. I’m feeling a little blah and needed something soothing.

This tea has a very lady-like taste and the leaves are decorated with rose petals. Something (maybe the matcha?) gives it a sweetness.

Thanks to Will Work For Tea, I was able to try this heavenly perfect blend! I love the ingredients in this blend. The leaves look great too. I just saw Amy Oh’s review that mentioned it tastes like Strawberry Quik. I forgot about Strawberry Quik! But it does really taste like it! The steep color is a cloudy light green. Cloudy from the matcha. I think this is the first loose leaf matcha I’ve tried. The strawberries are only sweet to me, not sour. The only difference I would make is a stronger vanilla flavor, but that might make the other flavors hidden. I really like this one… realy fresh and delicious. I just wanted to sit here & do nothing but slowly sip this tea for the next three hours!

I brewed a cup of this after the disastrous cup of Jessie’s Tea (by David’s Tea) – I needed something to rinse my mouth and get rid of the artificial coconut taste that lingered. This tea turned out to be a green tea that had a creamy texture and mellow vanilla + grassy flavour. I could only detect the presence of strawberries in the dry leaves; there’s hardly any sweetness or fruity flavour in the liquor. And the rose petals inside the tea bag were obviously purely for decorative purpose. Not as exciting as its name has promised (I was hoping for a tea that tasted like strawberries and cream!) and not a tea that I would buy, but it had effectively served its purpose for sure.

the first thing that i noticed and loved was the packaging, which had steeping time recommendations as well as brewing tips. then when i opened the package, i felt like someone was cutting strawberries on a spring day with the sunlight streaming in. in short the smell was heavenly! beyond the smell you could tell that the quality of the tea was ideal as the leaves were not too dry and there were full (not crushed) rose petals.

i brewed this tea after a heavy brunch and the green tea with hint of rose with vanilla (which gave it the fruity taste) was a perfect way to clean the leftover taste of potatoes and eggs.

although it is recommended to be enjoyed with milk i loved the tea simply with water.

Smells like… well, strawberry and vanilla. Has a bit of matcha on top of the green tea base. This was a part of my tea latte set that came with eight different tea bags, so I tried it with warm milk and a cube of sugar to make a flavored matcha latte and liked it. I’d buy this again.

As other people have noted, the leaves smell just like Strawberry Quik! After smelling them, I brewed this tea with some trepidation, but the actual taste turned out to be a lot less in-your-face than I was expecting. It isn’t anything like as overpoweringly sweet and fruity as the scent of the leaves, but quite subtle and smooth and with a teensy bit of a tart/citrusy edge to it . I was a bit surprised to find how easy it was to keep drinking this tea and I’ll definitely be revisiting it. I might try it with some milk next time, in keeping with the Quik theme.

I’ve been drinking this tea for the past few days (ever since I got back from the con, where I drank nothing but tea bags and coffee…). It’s one of the teas I picked out as a gift from my grandma for my birthday, and I must say, I am quite pleased with my choice. Obviously, I will love pretty much anything with a good vanilla flavor, and this tea is no exception. I like the strawberry element of it too — on the first steeping, it tastes like your usual strawberry flavor, but on the second, it starts to taste more like real strawberries, with an authentic sort of sourness to it.
