From Lupicia

STRAWBERRY & VANILLA is a superb green tea & matcha blend scented with tart strawberries and sweet vanilla. Brew it longer and try with milk. Its elegant, sweet fragrance is quite exquisite.

I’ve been meaning to try this tea for a while, so thank you to Kat_Maria for sending me some satchets to try it out! I have to say that for all of Lupicia’s wonderfulness, I was a bit disappointed with this one. The strawberry tasted a bit medicinal kind of like the cherry cough syrup I ate as a kid. When I look past this medicinal flavor, it’s actually quite a nice tea. The creaminess goes well with the underlying strawberry. I am tempted to cold brew it (like I do everything nowadays), but I have a feeling that would just highlight the medicinal taste.

I HATE that syrup… and LOVE this tea. The weirdness of taste buds. Good reminder, though, I have yet to cold steep this!

Very sweet taste. The aroma is too much like an artificially sweetened candy for my taste. Flavors of green tea in it its best qualities. Does not taste like a cheap Kirkland green.

This was my very first loose leaf tea, back in the day! I RUINED A LOT OF MY FIRST BATCHES OF IT and made it super bitter because HAHA I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING but once I got the hang of it it was great! I ran out of it now but I would really love to give this tea another shot in the future because the smell is absolutely PHENOMENAL!

Beautiful, clean taste. The strawberry and vanilla flavors are a nice compliment to the green tea. It is very refreshing, perfect for a warm day!

I like this a lot. The smells of these teas are very strong and pleasant. This one smells like candy and nesquik powder. I do taste similar hints, though a little less sweet. I don’t like to steep this very long though, b/c the actual green tea becomes too bitter to me (I use 1 tsp per 8oz). I also use a lower temp b/c I feel more comfortable steeping just about any green tea around 160-180 if I can help it, under boiling if I can’t. It is a bit creamy, and of course, floral. I don’t use milk to save myself some calories, and I don’t particularly care to sweeten it. i’m sure it’s even better though.

Going against Lupicia’s recommendation of boiling water (I generally don’t use boiling water for green tea), I steeped this tea at 185 for two minutes. The resulting flavor is closer to rose or cherry rather than strawberry, but the vanilla is really nice. The scent is enticing! think this tea would be great for company or with some fresh strawberries.

This was the first loose leaf tea that I ever purchased. Considering that I had no knowledge on tea, I found myself enjoying the slightly sweet flavour that the tea had to offer. I completely agree with the description that is given about this tea, because it works so well with milk. The recipe for Strawberry & Vanilla Late (milk tea) that was given to me upon purchase is what has had me purchasing this tea time and time again.

Great tea, a must try.

I have never tried this tea iced but loved it hot with just a bit of milk – the flavour still held with 2 infusions. Very unique tea with a nice sweet strawberry taste.
