1324 Tasting Notes

This was a free sample and I didn’t measure the leaf so that’s on me for why it ended up slightly over-steeped. I can see a bit of the glitter and it’s pretty! The blueberry is relatively mild, and I couldn’t pinpoint that flavor specifically. The white tea is still quite pleasant but I wouldn’t order this one. It’s kind of boring and white teas just aren’t my favorite. Glad I got the chance to try it though!

This one tasted very similar to some of the other Teeccino blends. I still prefer the Mocha blend over this one. I didn’t taste anything in this blend that made it more “java” or “coffee” flavored than some of the others. Overall, it was tasty but didn’t stand out from others I’ve tried.

Advent Tea: Day 10 from Michelle
I really enjoyed this chai and I even thought it tasted good before I added milk to it. The spices are well-balanced here and aren’t overpowering. A lot of chai blends have competing spices or just an overpowering amount that you need to add milk to in order to smooth out the flavors. The ginger and cardamom in this one come through and it’s not a clove heavy blend. The base tea wasn’t astringent or bitter either.

Advent Tea: Day 9 from Michelle
This one smells and tastes similar to the 52Teas Spiced Rum Raisin Cake tea. I got the same sort of grape flavor but it’s supposed to be plum. I haven’t had too many plum-flavored things so that is probably just what plum flavoring makes me think of. It’s a nice spiced grape/plum tea. I enjoyed how the spices didn’t overpower the flavor of the fruit. Thanks, Michelle for including so many fun holiday blends in our advent swap.

And immediately “Pump Up the Jam” is stuck in my head LOL.

I didn’t get plum from this one either, but more berry flavor. Nicely spiced for holiday sipping!

I drink tea for many reasons: For pleasure, health benefits, mindfulness, to help with anxiety, hydration because I have always struggled with drinking plain water.
My rating system is kind of a mess and I keep telling myself I’ll fix it sometime.
