1324 Tasting Notes
This is my second time trying this chai from the Zhena’s Chai sampler I bought. I added some soymilk and stevia to bring out the flavor. I cannot taste the coconut at all unfortunately but can taste some vanilla. The chai spices overall are pretty mellow and not very special.
Flavors: Vanilla
Preparation
I used a 16oz mug, filled it to the brim with boiling water then added two tea bags held them down at the bottom of the cup with a spoon, steeped for 9 minutes, then added several different types of cinnamon, a little ginger, and a little unsweetened vanilla cashew milk. This cup of tea was a very very nice treat and left me wanting another one when I finished it.
Flavors: Bread, Cinnamon, Ginger, Molasses, Spices, Sweet, Sweet Potatoes
Preparation
I have been drinking chamomile since I was a child, and have had many brands, this is by far the best I have ever had and I discovered it at a coffee drive thru, it is organic, the buds are fresh the tea bags are in nice packaging, the flavor is sweet and pure. No milk or sweetener was added.
Flavors: Floral, Honey, Sweet
Preparation
My first time tasting this tea I used about 8.5 oz of water and added nothing to it it was horribly disappointing, this time around I used a little under 8 oz of water and steeped it for at least 7-8 minutes using boiling water. Then I added a bit of ceylon cinnamon, penzley’s spice mixed cinnamon , and a bit of Silk unsweetened vanilla cashew milk. I found that this method really brought out the tiramisu/white chocolate flavor undertones. It is a soothing sugar free dessert at bedtime.
Flavors: Caramel, Cheesecake, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Creamy, Mocha, Rum, Sweet, White Chocolate
