I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but was pretty pumped to try it based on the reviews. Sadly, I’m not as crazy about it. The only other pumpkin tea I’ve tried is Davidstea’s Pumpkin Chai, and I find that one much better.

I think this one should have the word “chai” in the title as it is quite spicy. What I assume in the cheesecake note tastes a bit bitter to me. I didn’t really get the caramel out of this. It is possible I’m still not great at discerning different notes in a tea blend though. I will try again with a bit of coconut sugar to hopefully bring out the caramel. I might even add a wee bit of cream!

I am glad to have tried it though :)
I will have to check the steeping directions online as I may have gone too hot with the water.

The first time I tried this I was underwhelmed. Not sure what was going on that day but now I LOVE this! It’s really tasty, the marshmallows, chocolate and caramel are all coming out to say hello! I am thinking I was too stingy with the tea last time, trying to make it last sometimes isn’t worth sacrificing the proper cuppa. This time the flavour was maximized whereas last time my pathetic excuse for a “teaspoon” just meant a weak cuppa.

I’m putting in a DellaTerra order now and am really struggling to choose between this and S’mores, which I haven’t tried. Nevermind, I decided to order the sample pouch of this because it’s better than nothing at all!

This is really good. I have a disgustingly sweet bunch of teeth (all of them, not just one), so though some people have said this is too sweet, it’s right up my alley. I am hoping it will be a good way to squash a late night dessert craving. :)

Wowwwww…. This was so good. I wasn’t sure what to expect but sure enough it’s maple pecan!

I admit the only other two oolongs I’ve ever tried were green rolled up leaves so I was surprised to see these were black, that just speaks to my inexperience though.

This was a great tea, sweet enough but with a little additional maple syrup it was mind blowingly good. I’m pretty much Buddy the Elf’s slightly less elfin little sister in that I could probably drink maple syrup from the bottle, so take that with a grain of salt, no such thing as too much maple.

I am interested to see how I can get 11 cups out of my little 1oz bag though! Feels like half of that in order to get a good flavor (I’m using Davidstea’s perfect spoonful)

I would reorder this as it’s really well done!

Got a sample of this from Jessiwrites, I quite enjoyed it! I do prefer lemon over lime and this was rather limey (a little disclaimer – I’ve been watching An Idiot Abroad so I’m basically writing this with a British accent)… But this does remind me a bit of one of the first Davidsteas I fell in love with, the now discontinued Lemon Cream Pie.

I’m not a huge fan of rooibos teas where you can really taste the rooibos, I find this one does a pretty good job of blending all the flavors together in such a way that it compliments the rooibos, so they all balance out.

It does taste like a lime dessert, I would just prefer lemon. I’m not sure if that one is still available but I would definitely order it! Replacing the lime with lemon would make this tea perfect to me, but it really is tasty, and a great caffeine free option.

I steeped it at 98 degrees C for about 4 min.

I would say its pretty true to the name, I can definitely taste all the elements, chocolate, coconut and especially the almond! To me thats what makes it extra tasty. It smells just amazing, both when dry and in my mug. I’m not entirely sure I would buy this since I have Harney and Sons SoHo (no almond in that though), but I absolutely wouldn’t turn it away if it came knocking on my door :)

It’s not amazing but it’s very good!

Thanks to Lala for a sample of this! Once I realized this existed I knew I’d love to try it at some point, being the huge Harry Potter fan that I am.

I have to say, in 2011 we went to Universal Studios and spent a good amount of time in Harry Potter’s Wizarding World which was like a dream come true for the young person inside me. When there, I had two or three Butterbeers, which were truly delicious, possibly the greatest drink ever. Totally what I imagined it should taste like. It was offered in a slushie or liquid form, both were yummy!

This tea is an awesome tea version of Butterbeer! I hope it becomes available again because I think I’d like to order some!

Similar to Davidstea’s Root Beer Float (which was sadly discontinued in favor of the Cherry Cola, wth?!)… But that one I felt I could really only justify drinking cold and I’m enjoying this Butterbeer hot.

Here’s hoping I can procure some!

Hmmm. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this one, I definitely don’t love it! I’ve only had it once so far though. It smells really good in the tin, similar to Florence (but without the hazelnut of course).

I love Davidstea’s English Rose, which is pretty floral but balanced off with the white chocolate. I thought this one might be similar as it is also a black tea with chocolate and roses, but it’s not very flowery at all. I’m also not convinced I love H&S’s chocolate tea, because I was also unsure of the Florence one and will have to try it again. So far my favorite of the three chocolate ones I’ve tried is SoHo.

If anyone wants to swap to try some of this I’m definitely open!

I really like this. I find it’s sometimes easy for me to dismiss these serious dessert teas upon first taste, but once I sit down and really pay attention to the flavors, I realize how well done some of them are.

I find this is one of those. It really tastes like a chocolatey banana dessert. I might say this is on par with the Red Velvet Cake as my favorites from DavidsTea’s dessert blends.

(Incidentally, am I the only one with sachets and bags and strainers with leaves of “steeped one time” tea in them all over my counter? I like to at least do two steeps of everything but I don’t always want it immediately, and I have so many different teas to choose from I end up with soggy tea leaves in various containers all over my counter waiting to be drank a second time… :/)

I’m glad I stocked up a bit before the winter teas are gone, but wondering if I should go back for even MORE! Maybe I will do that on payday, because what if they never bring it back?!

I’m drinking my second steep of this right now so I will have to update later once I have a fresh sachet of this. 98 degrees C but for 3 minutes or so, probably could have done longer.

Second steep is obviously weaker, but I was still impressed at how full bodied it was.

After being spoiled by DavidsTea’s dessert blends, this one falls a little short in my opinion. It’s not the strongest tasting chocolate coconut tea I’ve ever had, but it is good. I’d say the best chocolate tea I’ve tried so far is Davidstea’s Red Velvet Cake, which doesn’t have coconut in it but is very flavorful.

After reading other reviews for this one I decided to add a bit of cream and sugar (coconut sugar) to this cup, it really did enhance the flavors! I can taste the chocolate and coconut much better, and the creaminess of the vanilla. I bet drinking the first steep like this would be even better .

Based on that I would rate it well, but with other dessert teas I’ve tried, they tasted true to name without adding anything, so that has to bring the rating down a bit.

I do like the base of this, as with all Harney and Sons black teas I’ve tried.

I would consider buying some of this loose, to refill my tin later. I purchased the sachets because i love the pretty tin they came in!

ETA: when I opened my tin for the very first time and stuck my nose in, it was like smelling heaven! Too bad it didn’t quite taste as amazing. But the small amount of cream and sugar really brought out the taste so i am enjoying this one and would probably buy again :)

I didn’t find this disgusting this time around, but I don’t remember loving it when I first tried it. I heard Davidstea no longer carries this in stores, only online and probably not for a whole lot longer.

I steeped it this time for 2-3 minutes because I know how “dirty” and yucky pu’erh can taste if oversteeped. I cannot taste any cinnamon, definitely some vanilla and mint. Supposedly there is licorice in it but I can’t taste that at all, which is great because I’m not a fan.

I will try the second steep tomorrow for a few minutes longer, but so far, though I don’t find this disgusting, it is really heavy in flavor but I’m not sure it’s a flavor I care for. I likely will not buy any online before it’s gone forever.
