Let me just say, I love that Della Terra Teas has a ‘build your own try me pack’. Pretty awesome.

This is so delicious. The fact that it has pineapple and coconut kind of worried me at first, but I can’t taste them. I taste a nutty sweetness, without any hint of ‘tropical’ flavoring. The green tea base keeps it light and smooth.

This tea has both coconut AND walnut in it, and consequently should have tasted awful given how old it is. By contrast, it was delicious. I steeped it perfectly (165F did well for it), and it was light, sweet, nutty, and perfect. Probably haven’t ever had a better cup of it.

I prefer walnuts when they are in something. Like banana bread. On their own they have a slight bitter flavor that I don’t really care for. I was hoping for a bit of a sweeter taste from this tea (brittle is sweet after all). But I’m only tasting a little bit. Overall if you are a fan of walnut this is a really good tea. Well blended with each ingredient not trying to over power the next.

Della Terra has created yet another great tea blend. I’m partial to green tea, so I love that this has a green tea rather than black tea base. It definitely tastes like walnut with notes of caramel. Such a sweet, light, yet flavorful tea. It’s definitely a dessert tea that I look forward to brewing.
