Smooth operator
This deliciously smooth white tea blend is basically Earl Grey’s younger, cooler cousin. It’s lightly floral, delicately sweet and refreshingly citrusy, studded with yogurt pieces for a touch of creaminess. But before you take your first sip, give yourself a moment to enjoy its fresh, lemon-and-bergamot aroma. It gives the old classic a welcome breath of fresh air.

I picked up 10g of this and the manager told me that it was really good—and she is not a fan of Earl Grey…neither am I.
I finally got around to trying it today and WOW and I am really impressed! Normally it’s a meh taste for me, but I am really liking the smooth and citrusy flavours with a hint of bitterness that you normally encounter with earl greys.
I am definitely going to get a tin of this :)!
oh my goodness. if you love lemons, and i do, then this tea is THE ONE.
it smells like fresh zested lemons, so bright and happy!
the flavour is fantastic as well, white and green teas as a base was an excellent idea, they blend well together and are not overpowering, letting all the lemon flavours shine. the freeze-dried yogurt adds a lovely light touch of sweet cream that compliments everything else really nicely.
definitely DEFINITELY stocking up big time on this one.

Never been a fan of Earl Grey tea, but the underlying lemon taste made this one a winner. This is probably the first tea that I’ve been a stickler for the steeping time, though, since brewing it too strong definitely wasn’t something I wanted to experience. I’m all about the subtle flavours, and this one has it in spades.
La la la LEMON!
So I have been on a mission the last week to try all of DT’s Earl Grey themed blends and at this point I have almost crossed them all off my list most recently adding The Earl of Lemon to the list, it was hard to select between this and Countess of Seville, next time Countess, next time.
Dry this tea has a lovely aroma that just makes me feel great, it almost reminds me of a lemon meringue pie just not as powerful, this was pretty much the selling feature for me on this tea. The steeped aroma is even lighter with a hint of your typical Earl Grey aroma combined with a lemon twist.
The final brew is very light in color and has a softer taste then I was expecting, that said it was absolutely great its hard to say but this may have trumped Cream of Earl Grey as my favorite Earl Grey blend from David’s it’s certainly a different twist on a classic, but man oh man it is just so good to drink. Will certainly be keeping this on hand for myself and friends that want to branch out from the traditional Earl Grey. Probably would have scored 100 points but the soft flavor ruined it for me a bit if it was 10-15% more flavorful this would be a deadly tea.
This tea has a perfect lemon flavor, it tastes natural, the creaminess of the yougurt complements it perfectly and it has a fine balance between calm and refreshing brew. Some of the David’s teas are known for their more flavorful teas that make you question how much of natural stuff goes into them but this one feels just right. Due to the ingredients it’s not something I would drink often but it’s a great choice for when I feel citrusy.
Had this one as a to-go sample from my store a couple of days ago… Absolutely delicious. I’m addicted to anything Earl Grey related, and realised I hadn’t tried this version yet. I had mine plain so I got the full tea flavour. If white tea wasn’t so expensive I would have bought a tin of this on the way out, haha. Maybe sometime in the future :]
I have been slowly trying all of David’s teas as it is the only store we have in my city and I am getting to the bottom of the barrel. I don’t know why I didn’t try this one sooner, I guess it’s because Earl Grey isn’t my favourite, and neither is white tea as it is expensive and finicky. I have to say that I LOVE THIS TEA. A new favourite right now. It’s so light and creamy and refreshing. The lemon flavour is so fresh and not overpowering. I only re-steeped this once but the re-steep was even better than the first cup (more lemon flavour). If you like earl grey and lemon, or even if you don’t, I would try this tea!
I’ll preface this by saying that I’m not a fan of Earl Grey. I really can’t stand the taste of bergamot.
Luckily, this tea is not very heavy on the bergamot. I definitely get a hint that it’s there, but it isn’t over powering. More than anything it masks the white tea, making it taste more like a Ceylon.
I tried this both hot and as iced tea.
Hot, it basically tastes like a white tea masquerading as an earl grey with a hint of lemon. It was fine, but nothing spectacular.
As an iced tea, this was delicious. Honestly, in a blind taste test I would probably guess that this was a black tea with a shot of fresh lemon juice. Super refreshing.
Overall, it’s worth a go, especially if you’re fond on earl grey.
I am a huuuuuge fan of this tea! I love earl gray as it is but I have to keep my caffeine down so I decided to give this a whirl.
It’s awesome! I could make a pot of this a drink it all day long it’s so light, flavourful and refreshing! Once steeped you can really taste the bergamot and the lemon!
I accidentaly steeped this at 98 degrees my first time trying it and I found it still as delightful as if steeped at 82 degrees.
