15 Tasting Notes
I was so happy to see this new chai on the website. I HAD to buy this one! Two things I like so much: chai tea and coffee !
The cardamom is really the stronger spice in this blend with cinnamon in close second. I can taste coffee but it’s subtle, more of an aftertaste…But it’s there. The tea base is a little bit weak, maybe it’s my fault, I will try to put more tea or steep it longer to see the difference next time.
Its less sugary than pumpkin chai (for an example) I quite enjoy that!
I like it, its not my favorite chai but i really like it.
Preparation
I was very exited when I saw this blend of Cinnamon and cocoa because I LOVE them together. And even better, it’s a maté (witch is great with chocolate)
Cinnamon is strong and fresh but not too spicy and overwhelming.
The cocoa is still there but less proeminent, smooth and delicious: it’s really a great balance between the two.
Its not sugary, a little sweet, rich and also earthy because of the maté.
I decided to drink it bare without sugar or milk and its perfect that way.
Preparation
It’s really good
I tried this one iced and frankly, I was not expecting to like it (I’m not a fan of iced tea and even less of fruity tisanes/herbal teas)
It’s so fresh and sweet, really smells like watermelon… Even taste like a
juicy watermelon. So refreshing in the summer.
My two kids loved it (2 and 4 years old) even whitout any sugar in it.
Preparation
It is one of my first white tea. A friend came back from the shop et gave me 15g of this tea. (I’m always happy to try new teas!)
The dry leaves smells very nutty, almost exactly like peanut butter.
Once steeped, the smell of the cocoa nib become more proeminant and the tea smells wierdly like freshly baked chocolate cake. It’s mild and sweet. Taste like almond with some fruits in the aftertaste. I can’t find any licorice in the smell nor the taste.
It’s a nice tea for the morning when I need something milder than my usual black tea (and it make me want to eat some peanut butter toast with it !)
Not my favorite but I don’t hate it either.
Preparation
So sweet, so good…. so expensive too… so it make me sad to see the bottom of the bag this morning :(
This tea is very unusual, i just love it !
Its hard to describe, green and spinash-y and at the same time so smooth and creamy like milk….and buttery too ! I can pick some of the orchid floral flavor . Every sip I take is a little bit different, sometimes its very green and floral, sometimes very milky and sweet. There’s a lot of layer of taste going on here ; It is so tasty and at the same time so delicate!
I’m going to resteep this all day long :)
Preparation
Today i felt very sick and nauseous so not in the mood for any fancy tea. I wanted something to feel better before a little nap on a rainy day.
It was one of the herbal tea that my grandmother always had in her cupboard, so it reminds me of her very much. Nothing special about this tea, taste like it should : mint and chamomile . Its really soothing and really helped for my nausea.I suggest to add some honey.
