8 Tasting Notes
I was really looking forward to trying this tea as I love pears and apples, but I was really disappointed with it. The pear and apple scent is strong but I found the tea had a somewhat metallic taste, which made it unpleasant to drink and detracted from the light, fruity flavour.
Preparation
This tea has a very light citrus flavour and the bergamot creates a very smooth taste that makes it easy to drink.
That said, I think this tea is a bit too mild for me. If one doesn’t really like grassy flavour typical of some green teas, I can see the appeal of this particular blend, but I would personally like something with a bolder taste.

Probably my favourite tea from David’s Tea, it’s perfect for winter and the ginger/ginseng combination warms you right up! I love the full flavour and earthiness of this oolong/pu’erh blend. The ginger is sharp and refreshing but the ginseng is much more subtle, more of an aftertaste.
I cannot attest to the “skinny” feature of the tea, but I will say that pu’erhs are known for their cleansing quality and lowering cholesterol, and I do feel detoxed after a cup :)
Preparation
From the description I was expecting a subtle sweetness but I think it has a rather heavy, earthy flavour, even a bit of a bitter aftertaste. Perhaps I steeped it for too long? Second cup was considerably lighter and had a honeyed aftertaste.
