This tea is exactly like stepping into a fall festival and standing in front of a concession stand drooling over all of the caramel and candy apples shown in the windows. Only.. you don’t have to go back and forth over trying to decide if you’d rather go with a caramel or a candy apple. This is the best of both worlds!

Steep time was right at about 2 minutes.

Phenomenal tea. If you like fall teas or dessert teas or tea in general do your moth a favor and give this one a try!

drank S'mores by Della Terra Teas

Della Terra Teas has yet to disappoint me. I was beyond ecstatic when I heard they were launching a S’mores flavor tea.

Steep time was right around 2 minutes.

This wasn’t as heavily scented as the other dessert teas from DTT that I have, so I was somewhat concerned that it would not be as flavorful. Not at all the case! This tea starts out with a deep smokey black flavor that was almost a bit startling at first. Next comes the sweet chocolate hues and then creamy marshmallow notes. There is a subtle spice and the full s’mores flavor really forms on the palate after a few sips. Delicious!

I really should try this and add a bit of milk as well as I feel that would drastically bring out some of the flavors. (Being lactose intolerant I never take the time to add milk since I always forget my meds. Lazy me!)

Another lovely dessert tea.

Thank you to The Tea Merchant for sending out free samples!

So, I have to admit, the first steep of this did not at all impress me. The plum was a bit strong and overly sweet and I was fully prepared to be disappointed in this tea. However, this being an oolong blend, I decided to re-steep the leaves and see if the second time was any better…

It was! The “too sweet” edge of the plum was knocked out of it in the first steep, leaving a well rounded plum fruit flavor to the second round. The flavor of oolong was a good bit more pronounced in the second steep as well. The second go-around really made all the difference.

I think I am going to try cold brewing this and see what happens. If nothing else, I’ll pour out the first minutes tea and just drink the second batch.

Thanks to The Tea Merchant for offering out the free samples! First of all, I have to say that this tea was shipped in such an elegant manor! I absolutely loved the wax seal, super chic.

As for the tea, visually it is gorgeous. The tea leaves are beautiful and I like the fact that they used what seems to be toasted coconut flakes, as opposed to most coconut teas that are made with just plain raw flakes. It really makes a difference in flavor as well, giving it more of a nutty toasted quality rather than a mouthful of just coconut.

I steeped mine for just a tad over a minute. The package says that 1-3 minutes would work, but I have a terrible habit of over-steeping white teas so I went the “safer” route which worked out well.

As I tried a hot cup this morning, I wanted to give it a shot over ice this afternoon. Did the same for steeping, let the tea cool and then poured it over ice. Very refreshing! The tea flavor comes out a bit more when cold but it leaves a cool crisp flavor that is simply delicious.

Over all, a great coconut white tea.

Thank you to Will Work For Tea for sending me a bit of this to try. This is my first experience with a Lupicia tea and I was excited to get to try it out since I have only even read good things about the company.

This tea reminds me of fresh and delicious strawberry ice cream. (and I didn’t even add cream to mine!) There is a lingering sweetness but also a light green tea crisp flavor that really pairs well in this tea.

I imagine this one is delicious over ice. Next time I make a glass of iced tea I think I will give this one a try again.

Another thanks to Will Work For Tea for sending me this sample. I have wanted to try this tea for a while but for some reason or another have always cut it out when editing my DavidsTea orders. No longer!

This tea is one of the most aromatic teas I have had the pleasure of tasting. As soon as it meets the hot water the room smells like it is filled with fresh blueberry muffins right out of the oven. The blend of ingredients is absolute perfection. Blueberry bliss with just a hint of perfect sweetness.

So glad that I was able to try this out, and I will for certain be adding this to my next tea order.

That’s awesome you liked it! For some reason, I just wasn’t feeling this… :(

drank Almond Oolong by Adagio Teas

Thanks to Will Work For Tea for sending me a sample of this. I have to say, it has a strong nutty flavor to it, almost a bit overpowering at times. I am a fan of almonds in general, though am still a bit undecided about how I feel about almond teas. I will say that there is a wonderfully pleasant lingering taste of honey that sticks around long after the last sip of tea that I really enjoy. I have enough to make another cup or so and am going to try to put this one over a bit of ice or add a bit of cream to see how I can better enhance that honey like flavor. Over all a good tea and I am glad to try it. I don’t think I would buy any sort of large amount of it though.

Mmmm… cream – I bet that’d be good!

Oolong teas are so addicting! The complex flavors are so intoxicating and this tea falls right into that deliciously flavored oolong journey that these teas are so well known for. The floral notes are definitely there from start to finish but along the way is a deep rich sweetness that is difficult to describe, but yummy all the same. I was able to get three good steeps out of this one, with the third being about 1/3 weaker than the first two. A fourth steep seemed too weak for my tastes. Another great tea from Persimmon Tree.
