This is an interestingly oddball tea. (Not odd in a bad way;))

I just read a few reviews of this tea while drinking it and thinking out what I wanted to say.

It’s interesting how many people mentioned the minty taste to this tea despite there being no mint. I guess it could be the lavender, but I’ve never come across lavender that tastes minty. Maybe it’s the combination of flavors? It is really faint, like a slight coolness at the end of the sip. Kind of like if some mint wound up by accident in your cup.

Would I get this tea again? Hmm. Not opposed to it. It’s not a wowzer of a tea, subtle. But it has surprising depths. The directions said 208, but my kettle has only 6 buttons, the 2 closest were 200 and 212. Next time I would like to try it at 212, just to see if anything jumps out.

I think the mate tea that I got from DT was the last from that company that I had tried…..And that before that I was having trouble with the almost consistant graham cracker taste so I decided to just avoid it completely for a while and then slowly try them, like 1 a week.
Yes, I do taste a graham cracker taste, but it’s not really bothering me. I do taste the nutty taste, and I used my rock sugar to amp up the flavor. I think this would taste pretty good made as a tea latte, with regular milk, almond milk or some non dairy cream….
Not sure if I could actually buy this because while I do like it, I don’t think I could bear to have it more then maybe once in a great while. Hmm maybe my Dad would like it:)

I have a mild like for peppermint, one of my favorite teas from Bigelow was Mint Medley. This tastes alot like it. It isn’t a ‘Wowzer’ of a tea, but it’s one that I won’t mind keeping in my cabinet. Luckily for me, there is a Spice and Tea Exchange nearby, like 15-20 minutes away. So I think I might soon go pick some up. Unfortunately though, this summer I’ll be moving and going to this one will be kind of difficult and it doesn’t look like they have any other locations here in Michigan. Ahh well.

Been a while since I’ve had a Wowzer of a tea….I think this would be it. Truthfully, I had started getting alittle weary of rooibos based teas, (Funny little after taste I hadn’t noticed before.) But I do not feel that way with this tea:) I looked up their website, unfortunately it doesn’t seem that they have the option to buy online, so short of driving 4 hours to the shop in Toronto, (Not that I don’t want to! Just lack of moola. But once I get a better paying job, it’ll be lack of time. LOL.) I’ll be SOL once I run out.
Anyways…back to the tea: This is sweet, I can taste the nougat flavoring, this is a perfect ‘in place of dessert’ tea.

I have no idea if this is ESP Emporium as my Mom got it as one of my Christmas gifts from The British Pantry in Tecumseh, Michigan.
Interesting tea….I can taste the marzipan and certainly orange. Not sure if I would get this on my own, though probably wouldn’t turn down a cup at my Mom’s.
I had planned on doing this at 200, but I automatically hit the BOIL button, but it came out good. I will try and remember to do 200 next time, to see how it rolls.

Less flavorful then the Apple. I have to admit, I was hoping for a Blackberry strength similar to that of Blackberry Sage, from Republic of Tea. Yeah I know…silly. All in all though…it’s not a bad tea. It is light tasting, uncomplicated, the green tea shows up quickly.

I do hope this company comes out with more flavors, I think a Peach would be excellent by them.

I brewed this at 160, as that is the lowest setting of my kettle.

LOL. Total Brain fart! I went to a Biggby’s Coffee shop with my sweetie after our late lunch/early dinner (Noodles and Co.) and ordered this as a Latte. Mmm it was pretty good. I never have had a tea latte before. It was very similar to drinking EG Cream, but significantly different….if that makes any sense;)
Drat…for whatever reason I started fiddling with the rating bar, so now I got to give a rating because now I can’t not do it….Grrrrrrrr. My only complaint about the tea latte, was that the medium I gotten was to much. I should of went with a small. Oh, they also sell H&S teas though not my current favorite, Tower of London, I wonder how that would turn out as a latte?

This is an interesting tea. Nice and light. Flowery smelling and tasting but not overkill. (To me, anyways.) I could be wrong but this could be interesting to haved iced. Despite it being like averagely (Least with the last 2 weeks.) 10-25 degrees out lately, I’ve been craving iced tea. So I think I am going to go with that urge.

Whether I would get this again? Hmm…I am not sure. At the moment I am not opposed to it. Which I find amusing because I am not a wine drinker like AT ALL! (I can’t stand the taste of most alcohol.) I bet if I tried the wine that this is comparable to, that I wouldn’t like it.

A nice, basic fruity, with a touch of tartness. They could of added just alittle more hibiscus in it though. Not alot…Hmm maybe I’ll see if I can find some fresh hibiscus next time I go shopping.
Being not very experienced with Oolong, I could not tell how much Oolong was present. Would I get this one again? Possibly but not anytime soon…plenty of other teas that I want to try.

I decided a while back that I needed some more black teas and give Mate teas a try, in my cupboard for when I need something to help me get moving before work. So been trying some different black teas: Success with the 2 loose leaf EG’s and Tower of London. So far have tried 3 Mate teas so far: a plain Yerba Mate, Caribbean Calypso by Teavana and this one. The 1st….shudders I didn’t like it at all. The Caribbean Calypso, I love and I can’t wait to get more. This one…I was a bit apprehensive when I saw Yerba Mate was in it. But then I thought…why not try it? (Got it as one of the samples along with the Sweet Indulgence sampler for Christmas.)

Meh. The taste was all the Yerba Mate taste that I remembered from the other one. Hmm, in looking at the ingredients list on DT’s website I notice coffee bean…now I can’t stand coffee, so that might be part of why I couldn’t even bear to finish this tea.
