drank Garden Party by Harney & Sons
3395 tasting notes

I gave this to my friend for her birthday, and she came over for blueberry scones and tea to celebrate together and she insisted we open one of her birthday teas to have. This is the one she chose, and I am glad she did! It was really good and refreshing.

The leaves are a pretty bright ish green, long and flat. There are chunks of dried fruit in the tea. The aroma is really lovely, so fruity and fresh, and the taste matches. One of my first thoughts on drinking it was, “this would be so awesome iced in the summer.” Even so, it is great hot but I would love to try it again some hot summer day. By the pitcher.

I’ve been meaning to try this one because rhubarb! I’ll have to pick up a sample the next time I order from Harney. :D

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
