This arrived in my mystery grab bag, and I was very excited to try it. Sad to say the strawberry flavor was no where to be seen.

I’m still searching for that perfect strawberry black tea. It has to be out there somewhere.

I had a lot of mediocre cups of tea today, and unfortunately this was one of them. Not really a cotton candy flavor. More of a very, very mild strawberry candy. I found it pretty boring.

Advent day 12! I found this to be another odd choice for an advent calendar. There seems to be a lot of fruity greens. This one was fine but not particularly special. Some mild peach and orange blossom, but generally pretty one-note.

This is a newly released tea from Bird and Blend. It’s not on the website quite yet, but i just got it with my subscription. This is a super yummy, tart festive punch. The balance of orange/lime leaves (which I love!) and the cloves/cinnamon are absolutely wonderful. Such a cozy winter tea. I do still prefer Sleigh Ride by DavidsTea as my herbal/fruit punch/holiday blend, but this is a really nice alternative.

Flavors: Cinnamon, Clove, Hibiscus, Lime

Advent day 11! Mmmmmm. I love a vanilla black tea. The base is pretty smooth, and the vanilla flavor was prominent. I absolutely gulped this down this morning.

Advent day 10! I always love trying new variations of tropical blends. Green bases work especially well with tropical flavors for me. This one I wasn’t a huge fan of, though. The fruit notes were a bit too muted for my liking, with the base being a bit too vegetal for the mild flavors.

Advent day 11! The flavor of this tea reminds me of the Sanrio stores I would frequent as a kid. Specifically, the Sanrio gum or candy that was melon flavored. This tea has the exact same flavor. Because of the nostalgia, I loved it! It was definitely a ‘happy green’ for me. Really enjoyed this, but it’s not something I would rush to repurchase.

Advent day 10! I found my thoughts to be generally the same as the first time I tried this. All the ingredients point in the direction of something I’d love, but the flavors are a bit too mellow for my liking.

Advent day 10! I’m not a huge coffee fan, so was happy to discover that this had a pretty muted coffee profile. I definitely picked up on some chocolate and cream notes along with the coffee. Added some oat milk and it rounded everything out nicely.

Flavors: Chocolate, Coffee, Cream
