Finished this one off today. Sad to see it go, but can always get more :D

i enjoyed this cup but honestly i wouldn’t call it mango or tangerine. i think the papaya came through more than anything but it just kind of blended in to a weird fruity mess

I thought i’d really like this one given the ingredients but it’s so very “meh” to me. Theres some vanilla and cardamom but the chai isn’t the best. decent enough cup i guess :)

steeping this a few times today. Finishing off the last of one cake. Thankfully i still have one more cake of this and one from 2014. Probably the only sheng i’ve found worthy of cake purchase as i generally prefer shu.

Mandala sure has some fine pu’er tea. I still have quite a bit of it. I missed out on this one. I prefer shu as well. I have been shying away from any sheng this past year or so.

i feel you! i had three cakes of this that i bought when i was new to puerh because i loved the slight smoke and smoothness of this one. I have no regrets as i always love drinking it. However with this in my cupboard i don’t need any other sheng haha

Bought this to tie me over until i get my other vanilla black from the US. It’s a nice smooth vanilla. nothing too fabulous but still delicious.

haha i was ok with this tea because i don’t mind hibiscus. That said, for a tea advertised as vanilla cinnamon, it’s mostly just sorta vanilla hibiscus. I really like these tea bags because i can make tea without focusing too much on it. While i didn’t mind the tea – i don’t feel like it’s very true to what it’s trying to be.

I’ve been enjoying the Floragold teabags as well for that reason.

I’m not sure what i expected with this one, but it wasn’t this lol.it’s more sour cherry than anything…sort of reminds me a little of cherry snowcone from davids tea but less sweet. Marscapone? not really. ALso don’t really taste the oolong…which isn’t a bad thing for me today haha

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling as well!

Most of that is on hold these days though, including tea drinking like I used to as I have a new little one who eats up all my spare time.
