drank Ginger Berry Crisp by Dessert by Deb
1711 tasting notes

Having the last of this sample sent by VariaTEA! This smells berry like and delicious! The flavor in the sip is tart and light, but at the end and in the finish the flavors brighten significantly. The berry flavor is strong, full, crisp and sweet, but there is something baked in there too. The ginger is pretty mellow and plays a supporting role to the berry. The hibiscus is pretty tame in this cup and is only in the sip. I don’t recall what I thought of this the first time I had it, but I’m digging it tonight! It’s very well blended.

This was one of the ones I packaged before knowing of your hibiscus aversion so I am glad that you enjoyed it anyways.

Dustin

I’m always impressed when people know how to properly use hibiscus in blends, proper being in moderation IMHO!

VariaTEA

I used to hate it and then I realized some teas need it, but I agree that moderation is key.

Bio

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
