I’m happy to find something in my Tea Forte sampler pack that is actually tasty. This is probably the best of the bunch.

The peach tastes fresh, delicious and not at all artificial. As others have noted there is also a bit of mango and coconut flavor in the tea. I drank mine with soymilk and that gave it a creamy element that boosted the dessert type flavor this one has. If you’re into fruit flavored teas, I would certainly consider giving this blend a whirl. I bet this would be really good as an iced tea also.

Was rather curious about this one! Glad to see a good review of it for if I ever order!

This was pretty sweet. After having oolongs for awhile, the sweetness in this made them seem downright savory (which they aren’t really). The peach isn’t really prominent though. There is a certain creaminess to it, which is where I suppose the brulee part comes in. I like it, but it’s definitely a dessert tea for me. I probably won’t be reaching for this tea often.

This tea is definitely better chilled! The peach notes are perfect—both in aroma and taste. The slight sweetness is also just right…not cloyingly sweet.

Backlog:

This was yum! I still have some in the cupboard, I might have to indulge in a cup tomorrow. I like that the black tea base is a bold tasting black tea. The reason for the bold flavor is that it’s a pan-roasted Assam base and it is what makes this blend so awesome! The notes of malt from the tea, the rich, robust flavor, and the pan-roasting gives this tea a roasty flavor that is almost reminiscent of a rich coffee. Only it’s better than coffee because it’s tea.

The peach notes do not overpower the black tea base, and I like that too. Notes of peach, mango and a subtle hint of coconut. Of these flavors, the peach is the most prominent, with the mango weaving its way in and out of the sip and the coconut is very delicate, most noticeable in the aftertaste than during the sip.

A really lovely tea.

I’m not really into flavored tea, but this tea was surprisingly good. Very promising, since a friend gave me a gift box of Tea Forte teas for an anniversary gift, all flavored. Hoping they’re all this good!

Happily, this is one of those teas that tastes like it’s name, and even resteeps very well, for 2 more steeps at least. Creamy and peachy, this tea is good!

Peaches and cream. On second steep, the peaches have departed for regions unknown. What you are left with is what restaurants serve as “tropical iced tea” (except hot), with a lingering aroma of coconut/vanilla cream.

Basically, I shouldn’t like this as much as I do.
