It smells fruity. Intensely candy fruity. Mmm. I didn’t look up the steeping instructions, and chose to steep this low and short due to the sencha base – I don’t want seaweed, thank you.

Brewed this way, it’s pretty much FRUIT. There’s a hint of fresh grass and some marine breeze in the background, but mostly fruit. It’s quite lovely.

And (bonus!) it was in a tea bag which made it super easy.

It’s pretty good, but for someone who doesn’t love green teas, it’s a touch lost on me. I guess… really lovely to try, but I wouldn’t purchase it.

The scent of this tea reminds me of some fruity gummies. I’m not really sure if I could decide on a specific type or brand, but it’s definitely reminding my nose of something fruity and chewy. When I move my nose closer to the cup, the green tea becomes more prominent. From the scent alone, though, I can tell that this tea base and the flavoring are matched perfectly. Where the green tea seems to end, the fruit picks up and continues with a delicate sweetness.

Sipping… hm, I think this smells better than it tastes. It’s not awful, it’s just a bit weaker than I would like. I find that Lupicia’s fruit teas are a little muted and that I want a stronger fruit note. The green tea is a little astringent, but it works with whatever mystery fruit is in this tea. My tongue can’t really figure out what it is (mango? raspberry?), but it’s still enjoyable. Tokio isn’t a repurchase for me, but I’m glad to have tried it.

Berries they say? I’m getting more of a peach impression. It reminds me of Momoko, but not as bright and crisp. It’s a nice cup of tea, but if I had to pick between the two, I’d pick Momoko. Unfortunately with Lupicia closing mainland opperations, that may not be a choice I have the luxury of making. Still, I’m glad to have picked up a sample of this before they closed down their retail locations.

I was not expecting the smell of this; as others have said, it’s a very strong fruity/candy scent with only a hint of green tea! I like it a lot, I’d love to be able to buy a perfume that smelled like this.

The scent of the liquor is similar, except far more on the green tea side of things — I’m inclined to call it mainly sencha, but I’m really not sure. It sips like the liquid’s smell, not the dry. I can distinctly pick out the berries, including some sweetness, even without any sugar added, but it very much tastes like a green tea.

I like this a lot! Probably the best sample I’ve gotten from Lupicia’s magazine thus far.

The Lupicia fruit elves have struck again. How do they get that meltingly ripe flavor in a cup of tea? In the smell of the tea? Its sheer magic. Amazingly fruity. An excellent summer green.

This tea was alright. I don’t think the berry flavor was as good as it could have been. The green base was extremely mild, probably to make way for the berry flavor that I just didn’t really taste. I would recommend other fruity greens.

One of my friends kindly gave me a teabag of this because everytime I try to get to the Lupicia in the mall, they’re closed.

The website describes it as a green tea with sweet berry flavoring. That’s definitely accurate to me. It reminds me of the sweet berry sauce you find mixed into alot of ice creams- berries, but very generic. Also a bit creamy and too sweet for me at the moment. The green tea flavor isn’t coming through very strongly with the two minute steep, even though the berries are quite strong. I’ll probably do a second steep longer to see if I can bring it out more.

I’ve been all achey and my mom thinks I have the flu. Strangely the ‘flu’ is making very sensitive to scents and flavors. I’m not sure thats a good thing.

This seems to be one of Lupicia’s signature flavour. I used to like it a lot for the berry flavour… but after tasting lots of different teas over the past few years, it longer tastes as amazing as I remember. It’s not that the quality of the tea has deteriorated… the sweet fruity flavour is just too artificial to me now. Well… it’s ok when you need a casual cup of tea or some sugar to boost your mood I guess.
