From Harney & Sons

Caffeine Free Chamomile and Lavender Yellow & Blue is an artful blend of chamomile, lavender, and cornflowers. Every breath is fragrant and fresh. The lavender infusion lends a floral, slightly sweet, and elegant aroma at once soothing and pairs beautifully with calming chamomile and sweet, spicy cornflowers. The yellow, lavender, and blue petals are indisputably colorful. The tea sings of spring with scent and taste like freshly picked posies from a flower field.

The flavor is primarily chamomile, though the lavender is still noticeable. The texture is a bit waxy.

Delicate and simple. More complex than your usual chamomile, but a smoother ride with a little added fanfare. Thanks so much for this taste, slb222. Really enjoying this first cup of our exchange.

I like a good chamomile tea, but I’d never had one that is loose leaf. My younger brother, a tea guru as well, said that he usually got chamomile from a grocery store instead of loose leaf because it tastes the same. I would agree that the quality of the taste is pretty much equivalent to the Honey Chamomile I have in bags from Teatulia, but there’s something so pretty about the flowers floating freely in the water. The taste is smooth like chamomile, and I don’t really get any lavender taste or scent. All in all it’s a lovely chamomile tea with pretty blue bits in the mixture.

I steeped it in almost boiling water. The first cup I left in for a few minutes, but after that I just left the tea in the water until I was ready for the next cup. It’s the kind of tea that can’t really oversteep.

Wonderful smell, wonderful taste. The lavender is not overpowering, but just enough to be noticeable.

This is pleasant. I haven’t had a good chamomile in awhile, so I picked this up with my last Amazon order. It’s very, very chamomile and not a lot of lavender, but that’s fine by me.

Sooo I don’t think that lavender is for me….
My bro used to be OBSESSED with this hookah flavor that was like Kashmir and lavender combined…it tasted like an old person’s house or something…one of his friends also hated it but him and I would smoke it anyway, and he would make so many comments about how bad it is. xD This tea totally brings me back to that haha!
I mean, this isn’t nearly as awful as that tobacco was or anything. But it still reminds me of that. The lavender isn’t overwhelming in it, the chamomile is very much present. I think if I never smoked that Kashmir flavor, I would have liked this better…but this one isn’t for me!
Glad I got to try it though-I almost bought it a few times. Thank you for sending me some of this, Carol Who!

I thought the lavender ruined it, too. Sorry you didn’t like it. I had hoped it might be a good one for relaxing and reducing your pain. :( Now at least you know and don’t waste any money on it.

Ost

No worries-I probably would have made the mistake of buying it sooner or later, this way I saved money to spend it on better teas that will relax me all the same. Plus, I’m sure I can send the rest to a better home. Thanks again for sending it my way! :D

Standard, simple herbal blend. The presentation of the dry leaf is lovely. I can taste more chamomile than lavender, though.

This was good, but it wasn’t what I’d call special or even memorable. I think it’s great if you’re just wanting tea. However, I pretty much never find myself with such vague cravings. This was the most plain chamomile tea I’ve tried so far, so at least now I have a truer sense of what chamomile is like. I’ve been wanting to try this one since the first time I perused the Harney & Sons website. Thanks, carol who, for giving me the opportunity to try it!

The first thing out of the PTS box that I simply HAD to try as soon as I could. I want my world to smell like this tea does. So lovely. As for flavor, its mild and easy to drink if you like lavender and chamomile, but nothing outrageous. I still might buy some to keep on hand for nights when I need to calm down.
