Smells like real banana and I love it! I got this as a sample from David’s Tea and mixed it with some sencha (As I do with all the herbal teas I get).

It is quite potent, even when mixed with sencha. You can really taste the banana. It tastes like a natural banana, not artifical. I’m a fan!

Wow. I’m not usually one for herbals but this was surprisingly…

Cutting right to the chase, this smells amazing. Myself and mum tried this tea as a sample when we went for Bollywood Chai, and while it was delicious, we both agreed it was missing something. Stroke of genius later – as a latte this tea tastes, no joke, like banana cream pie. Now I’ve tried the Banana Dream Pie tea as well, it tasted artifical and kinda.. bland. This one is like someone shoved a slice of banana cream pie in a blender, liquified it, and put it in a cup. Perfect perfect perfect.

Now…to see if I can successfully get a second steep out of this cup…

All I tasted in this was orange and banana. And the orange notes were VERY strong. The smell was delicious though! But I don’t think I’m gonna get anymore of this. Thankfully, I only picked up a sample to try out.

A little sample pack of this on my counter has been mercilessly taunting me all weekend. I am not very partial to anything banana related, except for maybe banana bread (and I have to be in a very specific mood for that) I’m not even sure WHY I’m going to even try this instead of just saving it for a swap… maybe I’m hoping this tea will prove me and my taste buds wrong. Hmmph. Let’s see.

Out of the pouch, WOW. So much potent banana smell, mixed with some other intangible tropical aromas. I’m feeling veeeeeeery hesitant about this….

First sip- um, bleeeegh. Again, overwhelmingly, straight up banana. It literally tastes like I just ate the actual fruit. There are some other milder notes of other tropical flavors in here, but they all take the backseat. If a day ever arrives where I suddenly want to drink banana in liquid form, I’ll know which tea to turn to. In the meantime, this one is definitely NOT for me.

Went down to David’s to check out the new spring line. Had to rein myself in before just going ahead and buying all the new shiny things! Got a cup of Copabanana since it is the only non-caffeinated one of the new bunch. I was a little wary because I’m not much of a banana flavour person, but this blend is absolutely delicious. The DT person told me to leave the bag in and she was right, the flavour has just been improving. I also have to say I took my first sip after 10 or so minutes and it was fantastic, so maybe don’t be too eager!

Just stopped at David’s tea today, Copabanana was the free-to-taste tea. I loved it! It has a strong taste of coconut and dried bananas. Delicious!

Loved the smell of this one. Got this home and I guess I really don’t like banana in tea because I couldn’t even drink the whole cup :(
Too bad because I love real bananas

I love coconut, so this was worth picking up. I was surprised that bananas were added to this tea as I have never seen it before. The smell was phenomenal, but the taste was ok. It definitely captured the sweetness from the bananas and the creaminess from the coconut. I definitely think this would great with a bit of sweetner and cold!

One of the other free samples I recieved in my most recent order. Have to say I’m not that impressed with it. I feel it would work a lot better if mixed with an oolong tea instad of the mix of nuts. It’s almost like brewing some trailmix. The banana flavor is enjoyable, but the spicy aftertaste of the nuts ruins it. When I say spicy it’s not in a good way. As you sip you get the initial flavor then there is a strange watery flavor inbetween the closing. I’m glad I tried it, but I won’t be buying more.
