From DAVIDsTEA

David was in L.A. when he had his lemon-black-tea revelation. It was early in the morning, the sun was bright, the joggers beautiful. He took a sip of a citrusy black tea and dreamed of starting a tea shop all his own. A place where you could find the smoothest, most citrusy organic black tea on earth – with lemon oil, orange oil and real bits of zest. (Truly, La La Lemon makes anything seem possible).

I love this one Iced. I steep it in my davids tea steeper (18oz one). 2 1/2 davids perfect teaspoons full and 1 1/2 of raw cane sugar, and I fill it 3/4 of the way with boiling water and steep for 5 min, then drain it over a glass of ice stir it around abit, Today I put some fresh lemons in with the ice as well. Taste delicious.

Had some to go from David’s today… great lemon flavour, the actual tea for me was nothing special. I got this hot but it would probably be better iced. If the base tea was better I’d get more of this but I’m quite happy I didn’t buy a bag.

I looooooove this tea!

Lemon teas have always been a favorite of mine. I especially love honey lemon tea! I don’t know why I haven’t tried this sooner.

I went into DAVID’s TEA with a new friend the other day and we were smelling some teas. Then I stumbled upon this gem and ended up purchasing 50g (even though I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any more tea!).

I love this so much. First of all, it’s a black tea. I love black tea. Secondly, it’s lemony. I love lemon. Overall this is really great. I bought this to go in store, and I got it with sweetner. The sweetner really brought out the lemon flavor. However, when I tried this at home with some agave, I really did not like the sweetner in it. I preferred it without. Maybe they forgot to put it in when I got it in store! Oh well! Without the sweetner the lemon flavour is more dominant.

I was very happy with this purchase, and I will probably keep a stock of this in my tea cupboard. It is very tasty!

Sooo tired. And it’s only 6. and I have to do school reading. And write a paper. Whatever. I love this tea. I bought it hoping that it would be similar to Lemon Lift (Bigelow). La La Lemon has a light lemon overtone accompanies a nice black base. It’s citrusy but not punched with citrus. This would be amazing iced! Or sweetened, if you like your tea sweet. I don’t really sweeten my tea much unless it’s agave or splenda, and I don’t drink sweet iced tea. My main reason? Hypoglycemia. I really love lemons, so I really love tea. Other than that I don’t have much to say.

I think that this tea smells more citrusy before you make it than it does to drink. However, that does not mean at all that it’s not lemony. It somewhat reminds me of a creamy earl grey, but gentler than I generally find that flavour (it’s citrus, but not bergamot after all). Overall, not bad. Not going on my MUST HAVE AWEKHTLAWEKJTHAWKTJH list of teas, but is something I’d definitely consider going for if offered.

This is my second favourite iced tea. I haven’t tried it hot yet but it is AWESOME iced. Added a bit of lemon juice, a bit of sugar and its perfect. Yum!

I was worried this would be bitter peel type lemon but turns out I had no reason to be worried. There is definitely lemon flavor to this but it is subtle and fruity, almost like candied lemon as opposed to tart lemon juice. It is nice but nothing particularly special, though I am glad I got to try it. Thank you for sharing Roswell Strange!!

From Considering A New Teabox

This was a good one to start with. It’s an inoffensive lemon flavored black tea.

Without a doubt, it’s better than Lipton, but it doesn’t have much more personality than a cup of it with a wedge of lemon.
