Hmmm. The honeybush has a bit of a sickly sweet honey smell in this blend, both the dry leaves & the brewed tea. It tastes fine, but this seems more like a honey-mint combo. Not really getting a chocolate taste. I may have to play around with blending this with another chocolate base.

Lovely, has a great nutty aroma & taste. Slightly sweet, not astringent, Dragonwell may be my favorite green tea. I don’t get a real buttery mouth feel, but maybe I just don’t know what to feel for yet? Second steep introduced a bit of an astringent taste.

Got this as a sample. I really liked it, reminded me of Harney & Sons Snow Dragon even though that one’s technically a green. Jasmine scent was lovely but not overpowering. Taste was very light, no real bite of astringency.

Nice green tea. I didn’t get a great buttery mouth feel from this one, a little bit but not as much as I was expecting. I found this one had more of an astringent finish than a pre-Qing Ming version I have from another vendor. Pretty good, but I won’t be replenishing as there are so many other great tea suppliers out there to try.

Interesting tea. To be honest, I don’t ever drink it alone, but I think it blends well with others. It has a nice spicy bite without being “hot” which is what I prefer. Has large chunks of cinnamon stick in the mix that are very hard, but a spice grinder is great if you want to break them down a bit more.

Love this tea. Teavana blends have been hit or miss with me, especially almond anything. This is my favorite rooibos to date. Blends well with others, & not too bad at $3.10/oz (I think, being lazy & not looking it up) by Teavana standards. Doesn’t need any sweetener, but I do add cream mainly just because I like the body it lends to the tea. Certainly doesn’t need it though =)
