65 Tasting Notes
I was a bit afraid of how this tea smelled dry – very strong, almost synthetic, almond scent. Steeped it’s much better, and I like that there’s no rooibos woodiness. However, I’m not picking up on much fruit, and the spices are very subtle. I may try another steep with a more representative scoop and see if that helps. :P
Preparation
Well, it’s certainly not like a cup of hot cocoa, as DavidsTea claims. :P That’s okay, though, because it’s light, sweet, and smooth (thanks to the coconut), but a fairly unique tea thanks to the blend of black and white. Tasty.
Preparation
I think I got some of the last in the canister – my leaves are quite small. Nevertheless, the taste is really nice. With milk and sugar it reminds me of some type of candy or snack. Dry, the raspberry comes through most, but steeped the coconut comes out a bit more. There isn’t as much raspberry as I thought there would be, but it works nicely with the coconut to keep things from being too tart or too smooth.
