Lovely tea! The chocolate is a bit more subtle than what I had anticipated, however it isn’t overpowered by the mint either. This tea is great by itself, and in my opinion doesn’t need any additions, but a bit of sugar didn’t hurt it either. It’s still a good cup of tea as it cools down too!

Normally I don’t really care for floral teas, but since I’m a cancer I figured why not try it out? I’m glad I did! While this won’t be an everyday “go-to” kind of tea for me, I know I’ll be glad to have it on hand. This first time trying it, I am getting more of the floral notes versus the fruity ones. I barely added any sugar, maybe 1/4tsp, and it sweetened it up just enough for me. Maybe next time I’ll be sure to get more of the fruit pieces in.

I do love the tin that it comes in! Gorgeous artwork, and I adore the star map on the inside of the lid. The look of the dry tea itself is enchanting. Just the event of getting out this tea and preparing it is calming. Overall I’m very happy with it :)

I love the Zodiac tins, too! I feel compelled to collect them all eventually…

Hello.Kiki

They are so gorgeous! I know there are a few other zodiac teas I would love to get. This is the only one I have, but do you have a favorite out of the ones you’ve tried?

Earthy and a hint of sweetness. This tea seems very well balanced, not too overpowering in any one direction. Lovely reddish amber color, and I love the aftertaste. Something about it is just warm and comforting. Very happy I got to sample this tea thanks to a friend :)

I swear this will be my last note on this tea, although I will certainly still be enjoying it. It is a decadent guilty pleasure, yummmmm.

EDIT: I had to edit to add that my fiance (who thinks “tea” only means southern sweet iced tea) loves this tea! He was incredibly skeptical when I asked if he wanted to try a sip of the cup I had just made, but I almost didn’t get my cup back! I will definitely be ordering more of this!

Strong scent right out of the tin, sweet and a hint of spice, just how I like it! While it’s steeping, the scent is reminiscent of some delicious dessert baking in the oven, vanilla with a hint of chocolate. To start I kept this tea plain, and it was delicious as is. Almost reminded me of a “healthy” desert, as it was slightly earthy. Adding in sugar makes it indulgent, and the vanilla really shines through. This tea is probably my favorite so far out of the Sherlock sampler I have. Then again I am only halfway through in trying them all out so who knows what gems await me!

I attempted to cold brew this one last night to have it today. It has a great fruity scent, very blueberry. Sweet by itself, but the fiance has a crazy sweet tooth so I did add sugar and it still turned out good.

I did try this tea hot before, and didn’t care for it. Today I tried it iced, and while I really want to like it, I just don’t :(
It smells sweet, fruity, and tropical like a certain candy. The taste is…. I’m not really sure what to say lol. Fruity, and I like fruity tea! This one though, hmm. I tried it hot (with and without sugar) iced (with and without sugar) and I just can’t seem to enjoy it. Bummer, because it really does smell great.

steeped hot with sugar, then poured over a ton of ice. I still want more mint out of this, so a few extra spearmint leaves thrown in with the ice would probably do the trick. I really like this tea iced!

ETA: my fiance and I both agree the first half of the sip is more berry, whereas the end/aftertaste is more mint

I’m typing this one as I go ;)

Scent out of the tin: yummm. Delightful. Intriguing. Sweet and fruity, and definitely smoky, but not overpoweringly so. Brewed I get more of the smoky/woody scent, but the cherry is still there.
First sip: I love this tea! It is earthy without being too heavy. I don’t have a master chef palette, so I can’t tell you what’s all going on in here, I just know that I like it! I gave it a small bit of sugar, and again found that it brought out the cherry for me in both taste and scent.
Again, yummmmm

The smell of this tea out of the tin is gorgeous, just like you would expect Molly Hooper to smell like if you gave her a hug, a feminine and delicate fruity floral.
Brewed it has this lovely light pink color, and still retains that fruity floral scent. My first sip and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this tea. It leaves a bit of a tingle, and has a nice hint of sweetness to it. The tea is not too fruity, not too floral, just a happy balance. For me I didn’t think it really needed any additional sweetening, but I did add about 1/4 tsp of turbinado sugar to my then half a cup of tea ;p I felt that it did bring out the cherry a little more, and it was still a nice relaxing cup of tea.
