Butter Pecan + Ice Cream = Very Bad
Butter Pecan + Tea = Very, Very Good

I’m not a fan of butter pecan, but apparently that’s because I haven’t had it in tea before. This is a great dessert tea and not nearly as heavy and syrupy tasting as I would have expected. The tea has a fair amount of astringency, but I think that helps keep it from being overly sweet tasting. The butter pecan flavor is fairly strong, but it doesn’t taste artificial. This would probably make a really great breakfast tea as well. Prepared with almond milk and stevia.

Thank you Rachel for sending me a sample of this!

I am by no means an Earl Grey fan, so I wasn’t expecting to like this one at all. The cream and vanilla flavors really help smooth out the bergamot. Pretty good overall, just not really my type of tea. Prepared with stevia.

I’m not much of a green tea drinker and I’ve never had houjicha before, so this tea was a bit of an experience for me. It definitely had a toasty flavor, which I am not normally a big fan of. The caramel flavor is a bit subtle for me, I prefer the flavors in my tea to be strong. I did enjoy this tea, but it isn’t something I would normally drink. Thank you Rachel for sending me this one to sample! Prepared with stevia.

I finally figured out what this tea needed – salt. I like my teas sweetened, but every time I added sweetener to this, it just got sickeningly sweet. Adding half a pinch of salt to this really helped bring out the flavor. I’m really enjoying drinking it this way. Prepared with almond milk, stevia, and salt.

drank Coconut Cream Pie by 52teas

This is a great coconut tea! I’m not sure whether I’m tasting pie, but that’s okay. The coconut flavor tastes more like toasted coconut versus the fresh coconut flavor found in tropical drinks. This holds up very well to milk and sweetener. Even steeping extra strong, I didn’t detect any bitterness. Prepared with lots of almond milk and stevia.

This is the best chocolate tea I’ve had! Very, very chocolatey. I’m also tasting just a hint of nut and caramel. I wouldn’t really call this Chocolate Caramel Turtle tea, I would just call it CHOCOLATE tea. Will be repurchasing this once my sample runs out. Prepared with almond milk and stevia.

Batrachoid

Maybe try it with chocolate hazelnut milk. Such a shame pecan milk isn’t available. I’d probably drown in the stuff.

I was really looking forward to trying this tea since I absolutely love assam, pineapple, and coconut. Sadly, all I can taste in this is lemongrass. I can’t detect any tea flavor at all. Prepared with stevia.

Pretty much perfect in every way! The almond flavor comes across as strong, sweet amaretto. The coconut and vanilla flavors are not as strong as the almond, but are still very noticeable. Even brewed strong, I don’t get any bitterness with this tea. This one definitely helped perk me up this morning. Prepared with almond milk and stevia.

I’m not sure why they call this Toasted Nut Brulee. I personally didn’t think it tasted nutty or like Creme Brulee. To me, it tasted a lot like apple cider (but with less apple flavor). Not a bad tea, just not at all what I expected.

This is a very, very good black tea. The flavor profile is pretty much perfect – zero bitterness, a thick texture, with sweet honey undertones. I wouldn’t change anything about this tea. Resteeps very well. Prepared with stevia.
