149 Tasting Notes
This tea is just okay, nothing special. The first time I prepared this tea it seemed weak. I brewed stronger the second time, but it still seemed kind of weak and tasteless. Tried with stevia only, as well as almond milk plus stevia. Not terrible, but there are better caramel teas out there.
Lots of tart passion fruit flavor. The aftertaste is more berry with a touch of something herbal. Tastes a lot like a less intense version of Tazo’s Passion tea. This tea blend looks great, with huge chunks of fruit and leaves. It is a little weak – I used three heaping teaspoons to about 14 ounces of water. Prepared with stevia.
A nice, mild black tea. I don’t know if I would call it chocolatey, but it did seem to have a little cocoa flavor. Steeped two times, the second time just as good as the first. Forgot I was steeping the tea and remembered about 20 minutes later, but it did not seem to affect the flavor. No bitterness whatsoever. Prepared with almond milk and splenda. This was my first foray into loose leaf tea.
