Another new-to-me tea brand! I placed an order on Black Friday, received it this morning, and absolutely could not wait to brew one of the new selections up. This came in the mystery pack that I ordered, and was actually one of the other blends that I was interested in.
The dry leaf smells pretty intensely of the vanilla flavoring (with a bit of that coconut edge that some vanilla flavorings have). Brewed, it just smells like a medium/dark roasted oolong.
Not sure if pomegranate arils are supposed to add anything to the flavor, or just be decorative. But, I definitely cannot taste them. There is a bit of lemon, and perhaps a whisper of vanilla. Surprised the vanilla is not stronger considering the aroma of the dry leaf.
As it cools, I’m getting a bit more of the lemon, but the roasted notes of the oolong are overwhelming everything else.
Probably wouldn’t get this one again, but very happy to have had the chance to try it!

Hello! I live in Los Angeles with my boyfriend and 4 cats [+however many foster cats I have at the moment]. I’m also obsessed with all things spooky.

I became obsessed with the world of tea through DavidsTea years ago. I love to try new brands, so I’m constantly on the look out for new-to-me companies.
