114 Tasting Notes
Yesterday, I decided to make sun tea with this tea. With the sun dancing on my deck the majority of the day, sun brewing was just beckoning me. I really get a kick out of watching the bottle transform into a deep amber throughout the day and nothing can beat the natural heat from the sun. mmm:]
I’m really quite impressed with this tea. The black tea is strong..which is a huge portion of what I was looking for in creating the Arnold Palmers that I craved. The vanilla is smooth and creamy and the almonds were nutty and roasty. Oh, yum. What a summertime treat I have in my hands today:]

Hibiscus! You are the reason I was not too fond of this tea when I first started… but now I better understand you (and can identify you:P). With great care you a a pleasant addition to the world of tea but without it, you can be one grumpy ol’ tartbasket.
This time, I added some sweetener, more leaves, and longer steep time to liven up the tart, almost flat flavors and BAM! This tea is so much better. mm. I really do enjoy the citrusy scent and the almost punchy flavor that this tea has. With some ice, this tea is perfect for a sunny afternoon.

I received this tea from Marzipan as my present in the Pass the Stash box! Boy, was I ever excited! I swear my boyfriend thinks I am crazy for getting this excited over tea and my dog just gives me the funniest of looks as I dance about in excitement. Ahh, but it is so much fun to enjoy life like this. Needless to say, I had a difficult time waiting this long to dive into this tea.
Wow. I’m so happy with this tea-it is amazing and totally fits the whole summer spirit. I could see myself happily sipping this tea iced on the coast of a warm and sunny beach. Mmm..oh, yes. The mint in this tea is so refreshing and the watermelon is so fresh! Plus, I’m loving the fact that it is an herbal tea so I can drink loads of it at any time of the day..oooohhh, yeah! I’ve already gone through three giant pots of this tea (both hot and iced-both are very tasty) so I can’t imagine that this tea will last me very long… tehehe.

Blech. Bleck. Nope. I have liked all the Island Rose teas that I have tried thus far..but this one is different. I’m not sure whether I just took a sip of tea or just bathed my tongue in a vat of cleaning products. Is this even safe to pour down my sink? I don’t even know:O

This tea tastes slightly medicinal.. It just must be that orange flavor that doesn’t tick with me. I do, however, enjoy the flavor of the rooibos in this blend.

Even through the shiny blue bag, this tea smells wonderful. Fruity and berry to the extreme. Upon steeping it and taking a sip, the huckleberry flavor was much lighter than I expected as was the black tea flavor. Ehh, it was okay.
I did, however, make an Arnold Palmer with this tea and it was incredible. For some reason, the lemonade really brought out the sweet huckleberry taste that I was hoping for!:D

The sun has broken out here and it feels like summer. This tea just fits the mood. It is a fruity, summery punch. It was just a pinch tart so I added a smidgen of sweetener. Yum. Iced, this tea is even more of a rockstar. Fruity goodness.
Flavors: Fruity, Tart

Three TTB in a row! It’s absolutely amazing!:D Just means it will be a long while before the next one, though:P
Cheri I had two that came one day after the other! Isn’t it amazing though?? :D
madametj Oh man, I bet you can hardly wait!! I predict some squealing in excitement in your future:D

I love waking up my dog by placing a bit of food in front of her nose. Watching her nose twitch and then her surprised happy face when she finally wakes up to eat is is just so adorable. Someone should make a human alarm like this. Waking up would be so much easier if someone stuck pancakes under my nose every morning:P
This tea smells, looks , and tastes like a white tea. The melon flavor is really light— I would definitely say that it is honeydew. I’m not detecting any yogurt flavoring but it is a tad creamy.

My father once, on a family trip, woke my uncle up by dangling a piece of freshly fried bacon under his nose, (Said uncle loves bacon) and as soon as he was awake stuffed it in his mouth. My uncle says it’s the weirdest way he’s ever been woken up in his life. Pleasant, but weird. :)

There is something about this tea that I do not like..but I can’t put my finger on it.. It does taste much better with a touch of sweetener as it brings out the apricot flavor. Just not my cuppa.
