If you have ever wanted to try a herbal tea but have been afraid of the watered down taste, try this one. This tea is brimming with flavor, there is not even a hint of skimping on this lovely fruit flavor. It’s thicker and flavorful like a juice. Sooo delicious! And for those of you who don’t like hibiscus, don’t fret… this tea has the tiniest little taste of it (roselle is a species of hibiscus) that just enhances the flavor. Seriously, this tea is like a bowl of fresh blueberries, cherries, and currants wrapped into one. It is a little tart…but tart in an amazing way. I love it! Plus, you can always add sweetener to make it sweet if you so desire.

I am a huge fan of fruity herbal tisanes and this is one of my favorites. I have just brewed a cup and it helps me get through my less than entertaining biology lecture (this teacher, my goodness). Just the smell of this tea is entirely enchanting. You start out with dragonfruit and guava with an undertone of strawberry and finish off with a light floral tone. I could do without the light floral tone, but it is not too strong to sway my like for this tea. It is perfectly sweet without sweetener, but I will on occasion add some rock sugar—do not like the taste of this tea with clover honey for some reason.
In my opinion, this tea is amazing hot/warm… as soon as it becomes iced, it loses its luster becoming more watery and semi-reminiscent of vitamin water.

I got this as my free sample and honestly, I was blown away. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite teas. I love how there are three distinct notes in this tea. Upon taking a sip, you are immediately hit with the taste of chamomile that relaxes you and then fades into the mint that stimulates your taste buds allowing you to fully enjoy the lovely notes of the vanilla rooibos that follows. Awesome tea, the smell is about as enchanting as the taste. Highly recommend.

When you open the tin with this tisane, you are immediately enveloped in a gorgeously peachy aroma. After brewing it, the flavor is a little bit lighter than it smells, but it is still oh so pleasant. I often take this with me to school in a thermos and it tastes wonderful hot, warm, and cold. Mmmm. My boyfriend loves this tea as well. I also had my best friend try it and she immediately wanted to go on a trip to Teavana to get some. It is delicious and relaxing. It is sweet enough in its own right to not need any sugar, although occasionally when I am craving something a little sweeter, I will add just a bit of rock sugar and it tastes like a wonderful juice.
I tend to seep my herbal teas for much longer than suggested… generally about a half hour. This makes the tea taste much stronger to me and since there aren’t any tea leaves in this tea, it doesn’t get bitter.

This is an amazing tea for relaxing and enjoying the sweet things in life. If you have yet to try it, you should think about doing just that….even if you aren’t too big of a fan of Teavana.

Tea is a new hobby of mine. The crazy amount of available teas is amazing and I’m just now wetting my toes. One of my favorite parts about teas is sharing it with my friends and family.. It is the best when you finally discover a tea that a “tea hater” loves. For me, tea is a bit of happiness in a mug and I’m always willing to explore.

Besides tea, I’m a scientist who adores long hikes in the mountains, dancing around the house listening to the Beatles (and other wonderful bands), and playing with my dog. Life is a beautiful thing that deserves to be explored and cherished.

I will try any tea at least once and my palate is continually changing as I delve deeper in the tea world, but these are my current preferences:
-Herbal
-Rooibos
-Interesting flavors (root beer float, ice cream cake, etc.)
-Fruity
-Nutty

And I would love to try a purple tea… :]

Shall we explore together?:]
