694 Tasting Notes
I received this in the box of samples I purchased from LiberTEAS. Thank you!
I really really wanted to love this tea. Strawberry and lemon, it sounds like the perfect combination. The hint of floral and the way the strawberry was presented in this tea just didn’t quite do it for me, but this is a kind of tea I would like to keep trying. Maybe there is a different brand that does the same type of tea a different way.
I had this as my first cup this morning. I am not a fan. When I think cheesecake I think creamy, sweet, and rich. This just hit me as a strong black breakfast tea, but I can’t detect any cheesecake. I tried adding milk and sugar, but still did not get cheesecake.

When I went to look at the description of this tea I found Nicole’s tasting note and it described this tea perfectly. I don’t feel I need to say much more. I will enjoy what I have left of this tea, but will not need to re-purchase.
I got this from QueenOfTarts Tea Stash Sale. Thank you!
I read the reviews of this and I was a little nervous. The idea of the tea sounds amazing, a mostly guilt free substitute for hot coco and baileys. I made this the same way I would make a chai, tad more leaf to water and an ounce or so of milk with sugar. The result was a a creamy chocolate mint treat. I will have no problems finishing this sample, but not something I would purchase again.
Preparation
I have read so many good things about 52 Teas, but was starting to wonder if I would find a blend that I would really enjoy. The flavors are all interesting and intriguing, but the black tea base wasn’t sitting with me right. This is finally one I really like! Strawberry, vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon. The flavors blended together so nicely. Yum!

I have to keep thanking CelebriTEA for re-introducing me to Early Grey! I had been avoiding this type of tea altogether due to one bad cup. I drank this all afternoon. The bergamot in this is a bit stronger than the David’s Earl Grey Cream, and the cream seems to be hiding in the background a bit more. I should be getting some more David’s EGC in the mail in a few days and it will be interesting to compare side by side. This small amount from QueenOfTarts is not going to last very long!
Preparation
I love this tea. I saw a post on the discussion boards about what tea would you take with you to Mars. This would be it! I have now had 2 other Milk Oolongs and this is by far my favorite of the bunch. Sweet floral taken over my a very creamy mouthful. I enjoy this tea most in the morning. This tea was the tea that launched me into exploring oolongs, and I am ever so thankful.

I have been avoiding quite a few tisanes do to hibiscus, and rose petal, so when I saw this in the box I was a bit nervous. I brewed this up per the instructions last night. This was really good. Very orange, but I couldn’t pick out the flavors of the ingredients I tend to shy away from. Everything blended together nicely to make a very fruity treat. I drank this hot last night, but I think this would be really good cold as well.
