I was really excited about this tea. I just ordered something very similar from Zen Tea. Vanilla and mint two of my favorite tea ingredients together as one. unfortunately I think I followed instructions on a package when I shouldn’t have. The package seemed much larger than one tsp, but I dumped the entire thing into my steeper and away I went. The resulting cup was really really bitter. I am going to leave this unrated and hopefully we will cross paths again some day.

I had purchased a bunch of tea similar to this from Teavana, but the cinnamon in it just was too much. This tea however is very nice. Juicy, slightly spiced and naturally sweet. I do not get the “yogert” notes in this, but it is still tasty. I will definitely enjoy the rest of this sample. I think this one would also be good doctored up a bit.

A friend of mine ordered this when I made my last Butiki order. She was not a fan and so I became the owner of what remained. Yay! She said to her it tasted like only carrots. She tends to like only very pronounced flavored teas, anything resembling straight tea just doesn’t do it for her so I see why she might not have liked this one. The base is amazing. It brings out the bread-y taste of the frosted carrot cake. I get a hint of carrot, and a hint of spice. At the end of each sip is the vanilla. I am brewing this at work and will have to take it home and add some sugar just to see if the spice is brought out a bit more. I really like this one!

This was pretty similar to H&S Hot Cinnamon Spice. It was a nice afternoon treat.

I tried a sip of this and had to dump it out. It was soooo bitter for me. I then came to steepster to write a quick review and see all the positive feedback about this tea it makes me wonder if I did something wrong. I am going to have to give this one another try.

I have been really leery of Jasmine. This was a nice subtle jasmine that worked well for me this afternoon. I unfortunately didn’t get too much of the mint out of this, but this was a really nice relaxing cup.

This was a nice mix of sweet and cinnamon. The cinnamon wasn’t too over powering and the sweet blended well with the rooibos. I am beginning to not enjoy teas with cinnamon in them, but this was subtle enough that it really worked. I enjoyed this one!

This was on my wish list and I was so glad I got to try a sample. Yummy! I added milk and sugar for a nice treat. I didn’t write this note while sipping so I am now unsure of how the spices worked. It was a very nice combo and I will be eying this to get some more.

Reading the name of this tea I got really excited. I love both flavors. Brewed up though this was a little too medicinal for me. I get the lemon form the lemon grass and I get ginger. It tastes like there is chamomile in there. I am not sure why this didn’t work for me. It is a very dark brew which is really surprising. I added some ice and it was okay cold. I really wanted to like this one, but it is not my cup of tea.

This just isn’t for me. The smell alone just didn’t sit right with me. I gave it a go, but unfortunately it is just not my cup of tea.
