thank you Scheherazade for this swap! I’m sad to say that we, for whatever reason, decided that rearranging our entire house again was something we wanted to do late into this evening. I blame the purchase of 5 new board games on that.
In any case, as a result i wasn’t able to focus on this tea as much as i wanted to. Overall, it came across as a pretty great cup of tea. Fruity with hints of smokiness from the assam. Luckily i have enough for at least another cup, maybe two, so that i can spend a bit more time focusing on the tea.

5 new games? That sounds like a lot of fun!

Barbara

I wouldn’t even be able to name five different board games. ;-)

Sil

Haha we have probably over 50 in the house now if you count individual boxes. Tea and boardgames are some of my favourite things :)

What games???

Sil

Fortress island; urban sprawl; small world underground; king of Tokyo; fresco and an extra base card set for our dominion collection lol if that means anything to anyone

The last board game I played was Monopoly, a few years ago on New Year’s Day. We had so many people playing we had to combine 2 boards in a figure 8 formation. We used the Star Wars & pirates of the caribean versions. My brothers & I used to often combine games, rewriting the rules when necessary. Monopoly & game of life was our original combo game.
Anyway, my son in law & my boyfriend kept cheating, LOL!

Cool! I always wanted to try Dominion, but we end up with a lot of Axies&Allies type games. My bf loves games you need to dedicate an entire day to. He bought me a few more casual ones, but I need to learn the rules and teach others and I’m not so good at that.

Sil

dominion is super easy and has lots of repeatability. draw card, play actions, buy something, draw cards :)

I love Dominion. I don’t get to play often, but it’s really fun when I do. King of Tokyo is decent. I gave a friend Fortress Island for Xmas, so I hope it’s good. Tea and games. What’s better?

Sil

King of Tokyo was to have simpler options for some of our less strategically inclined friends. Is also afamily game, so you know in like 7 years our currently non existent children can play lol

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling as well!

Most of that is on hold these days though, including tea drinking like I used to as I have a new little one who eats up all my spare time.
