I ordered this tea on Tuesday of this week and today Friday, I have my tea. WOW! I am impressed with the super lightening fast delivery:) (I am still waiting on my GM order which I placed several days before this one…I hate waiting for teas to come in the mail, but when they do: Happy Dance!)
This tea is incredible. Delicate pear tea with a hint of spice that is oh so pleasing on my tongue. I almost did not order this, I am soooo glad I did:)

Thanks to Mrawlins2 for sharing this tea with me.
The smell in the bag was of pineapple, the taste in my mug is almost cake like with a cherry at the end of the sip.
This one is a keeper. I do like honeybush! I do:)

Woke up with a sore throat, this is the only mint like tea I have in the cupboard!
Nice and soothing on my throat. This tea is in perfect balance. Green tea is not what I reach for, but this one is nice and deserves a place in my cupboard.

Made the traditional method on box. Delicious and warming:) This makes a nice substitute for the homemade hot chocolate my Mother used to make with a lot less calories with the Vanilla Chai base. I think I will add a chocolate tea next time I make this:)

this is the second time I made this tea. The first time, it was just ok. Nothing special. Today I boiled my water and waited only 2 minutes for the infusion. It is better, but still nothing special. I added raw sugar and milk to cut the boldness of the assam. I am anxiously awaiting my GM order!

Got really cold tonight, I am on my second pot of this tea and I am finially thawing. This medium strength ceylon is the perfect companion to a sweet cookie. No need for milk, I did add rock sugar in the infuser basket.

I find myself reaching for this tea more and more. The blend of black, green and peach are perfectly balanced, you will be hard pressed to find a better black/green blend.

Nice choice at night for that chocolate fix. It is not a strong chocolate presence ( if real chocolate is what you are craving, eat some M&M’s) but as far as tea & chocolate blends it is spot on! Nice caffeine free, zero calorie indulgence. The honeybush in this blend smells wonderful, one can almost catch a vanilla-ish wiff, I am guessing this the creaminess peaking out of my cup. I am not a big fan of honeybush or rooibos, but this tea has earned a place in my tea cupboard. My only complaints about SanctuaryT teas are 1. no brewing directions on the tin and 2. the tin is hard to get into…cute but difficult to open and not spill the precious tea inside.
I have two Santuary T teas in my cupboard (Geisha Beauty is my other) and both are keepers!

I do not taste the Ceylon base or the Green tea base, one over the other. It is just a mild peppermint in a good tea base. I have been drinking black and green tea blends lately and I like what I taste. The bitterness of a black tea base is camouflaged by the often times grassy taste of a green tea and vice versa. Separately I have to put additions in most black teas and I pour out most greens that I brew. But together, they forge a mild tea with a lower caffeine level that is most enjoyable after a meal. As this cools down the peppermint is less noticeable and the black Ceylon has come forward to take a bow.

STAY CALM AND DRINK TEA

Steam rises from a cup of tea

and we are wrapped in history,

inhaling ancient times and lands,

comfort of ages in our hands.
