Okay, so I had a pretty potent headache when I picked this one out, so I was in a rush and didn’t really pay close attention. Plus, the salesperson was very pushy about getting this one and I had no energy to question it. And then I just decided to cold brew it because I was curious about it, but didn’t want to drink something hot in this humidity. It had a nice nutty and cinnamon taste that I can imagine would be much better hot. The combo of flavors (especially the cinnamon) is odd as a cold brew. I also tasted something odd about the tea, which upon closer inspection I realized was rooibos. Had I realized that this had rooibos before, I would not have gotten it because I just am not a big fan of rooibos. Anyway, this tasting note feels like it’s kind of all over the place. Basically, I will try this again hot later when I have the chance, but so far doesn’t look too good for my personal taste.

Tea #2 from Another Traveling Tea Box?!?!?!

I agree with other posters…tasting a LOT of cinnamon, slight hint of nuts, and apple. More so the apple as it cools.

It tastes NOTHING like Toasted Nut Brulee Oolong should taste. I’m not a big fan of the apple.

Meh. Smelled lush, aromatic, nutty in the bin so I bought 2 ounces. Only discovered after I got it home that it had at least as much rooibos as oolong, and the rich aroma was already fading. Brewed it this morning, <24 hours after purchase. Like others, I tasted mostly cinnamon with a sweet-tart note of pineapple. Not at all what I expected. It would probably make a decent iced tea, but I can’t recommend it unless Teavana changes both its name and its description to be more accurate.

Is this tea trying to be a burnt French dessert? If so, I’m sure why it has so much tropical fruit. It smells nice though, like cinnamon and almonds. I taste more rooibos than oolong.
This really more of a mildly spiced nut herbal blend. Which is fine, just not what I was expecting. Could use more nut, and a little less fruit.

Tried it again, and the chicory had taken over.

A friend convinced me to stop into Teavana when we were at the mall today. All I could think was " don’t buy all the tea. You have enough of their tea already, there are better teas on your wishlist elsewhere." I did end up getting some tea to go and this was it. Cinnamon, apple, and a spiciness that I’m guessing was cardamom (since there was a TON of it in the blend.) I was hoping to get some caramel/sugary goodness from the tea due to the name, but that department was lacking. I did not have this sweetened.

Fun side story, while we were shopping today I was offered applications from both Teavana and LUSH while I was in their stores. I was just chit chatting with my friend, helping her to decide on products, telling her which ones I liked and why, etc. After hearing me talk, managers at both places were asking me if I would like to apply, lol.

Disappointing. The name of this tea sounds delicious. I would expect caramelly-sugary-nutty deliciousness, but not apple and cinnamon. Too bad.

Hello.Kiki

It actually made me think of caramel almond amaretti as soon as I took a sip. I didn’t end up picking any up for that reason since I already have the amaretti.

Tea #28 from Considering a new TTB
I think it’s a bit misleading to have oolong in the name of this tea because it is mostly rooibos. I could only find a small amount of oolong hidden among the various nuts and candied fruit pieces; then again that seems to be the trend with teavana. Flavorwise this tasted mostly of apples and cinnamon, which wasn’t at all what I was expecting, although it did have a slight nuttiness to it. It may not have been what I was expecting and could certainly benefit from a more descriptive name, I did really enjoy this tea.

This tea won’t be continuing on

Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. The only way I could handle this was ice cold, but still, the second it hit the back of my throat I thought I was going to vomit. I thought it would have a nutty flavor, so I bought it, but the cardamom was much too overpowering.

Perfect fall tea, you can really taste the nuttiness and the cinnamon. One of my new favorites! I like to steep for a little longer than is on the package for more flavor.
