I use this everyday to make matcha. I make it hot and cold, and never fill past the line on the cup. The only time it exploded on me was when I mindlessly shook it and opened it while driving. The button works to relieve pressure to prevent this otherwise. I would absolutely recommend this for those who are on-the-go and want to whip up some matcha beforehand.

So this thing exploded on you, and you still gave it 100?

I had such an awful experience when I first tried this tea that I avoided it. I just gave it another shot and brewed it the way I felt it should be done and it turned out fantastic.

The chocolate and hazelnut balance is quite tasty, especially when it’s sweetened with some rock sugar. Do not boil this tea or it will taste nasty.

drank Love Tea #7 by DAVIDsTEA

Summer has long since came and went since I last tried this tea. I found it in the back of my cupboard and dusted it off for an after dinner treat. It was delicious to say the least – in fact, it is so good that I can’t believe I forgot about it (I think this may mean I have a tea problem and have to thin out my tea collection).

It’s simple: tastes like strawberries and chocolate. It’s rich and bursting with flavor that does not taste at all artificial.

Quite a while ago, I purchased some Maharaja Chai Oolong. I took one sip and knew that my mom would love this tea, as she is always craving hot tamales and big red gum (I hate big red gum), so I gave it to her.

But alas, I received this sample and had to give it another go. For me, the sweetness helps me tolerate the overwhelming cinnamon taste. But like other reviewers, I feel this is the tea’s downfall. I don’t understand why they used the balance of spices they did, but then again I feel that that is mainly the Maharaja Chai that is overpowering. I’ve never tried the Samurai Chai alone, although I have heard a lot of positive things about the Samurai/Ayurvedic chai blend. Try that one if you’re looking for a good chai blend. Otherwise, if you love Big Red gum, you will love this.

I’m not going to rate this tea. I don’t know what happened, but I swear I got a bad batch. I prepared it every which way and every time it came out bitter to the point that I spit it out and just dumped the entire cup down the drain. I was very disappointed with this tea and I have no explanation for the consistently poor outcomes I got when trying to brew it.

This tea is light and fresh. The floral taste is nicely meshed with what appears to be reminiscent of crisp cucumber. This tea is so refreshing that it feels revitalizing to drink it. It is so delicate, yet so good I have dubbed it my crack tea.

This black tea is beyond fabulous. It’s rich and bold while smooth and void of bitterness at the same time. I’m enjoying my second steep and this caramel flavor comes out nicely in the finish. This is the cup ‘o’ black I’ve been searching for. Many thanks to Teavivre for creating such a masterpiece!

This tea is a real treat. The taste is robust and musty, and the bitterness is laced with this fabulous caramel taste that comes out so subtly that I find myself confused about what the heck I am drinking. Plus, you can re-infuse the leaves 4-5 times, which helps since I can’t buy it online and would have to drive down to Kansas City if I wanted more. I am going to enjoy this tea love affair even more since it is temporary!
