From Teavana

Nirvana for the dessert lover, this magnificent herbal blend is deliciously decadent and oh-so-sweet. Rich chocolate, creamy caramel and ripe banana blend smoothly with soft notes of apple, pineapple and rosehips for a guilt-free treat you know you so richly deserve.

This tastes like watered down apple juice with a hint of banana and chocolate…literally. Why…just why?

This is a really dessert-like tea (my favorite kind) and it lives up to its name. The most prominent flavor here is the banana. The apple and pineapple add some sweetness and the slight chocolate taste comes from cocoa AND carob! It is nice because it has a light body. With the flavors in this tea, a light body is essential so that it’s not too overwhelming or bitter.

Sorry about the misleading picture but there is not actually any caramel in here; it only comes from the artificial flavors.

My first tea picked up from Teavana, and took a risk considering the smallest size I could order in was massive.
However, I was very impressed with this dessert tea: a nice after meal treat when served hot, and a refreshing chiller when iced.
Another masterful herbal blend from Teavana.

Sorry to disagree with my fellow tasters, but I didn’t like this one at all. It smelled wonderful in the store, but when I steeped it according to the directions, I got very little flavor at all. Tastes like slightly sweetened hot water.

Holy Bananas! It really does taste like chocolate bananas. If you’ve ever tried a chocolate covered banana then you have to try this tea. The dry smell is unique. Chocolatey of course, but with slight fruitiness to it. It’s also dairy free, which is a big plus in this family.

This one needs more then the suggested 5 minutes of steep time. Leave it for 5 without touchin it and at 6 take a sip. i like it around 8.

This tea smells absolutely fantastic. However, I took quite some time to steep in order to get any of the flavor you want. This is still a great tea and I would love to enjoy it again.

I bought this tea with several others from Teavana’s spring collection of new teas. I was really skeptical of a chocolate tea—I tend to prefer spicier black teas. WOW, was I blown away! I absolutely love this tea and it tastes spectacular sweetened with honey or unsweetened. I recommend steeping this tea double the usual time as it can be a bit on the milder side. I find it tastes fantastic when paired with a snickerdoodle-type cookie such as Lucy’s Gluten Free Cinnamon Thins. Really fantastic tea for anyone seeking a great dessert tea! I don’t really taste the banana, but the overall blend is perfect.

What can I say but this is some beautiful stuff. Prior to steeping, this one resembles a bag of mixed dried fruit. The smell, OMG, absolutely delicious…just like chocolate and bananas foster. Teavana nailed this on the head! Steeped, it brews up a pale yellowish amber color, but the aroma still remains. Surprisingly, this is incredibly pleasing on the tongue. You can taste subtle bites of chocolate and unripened banana which plays seductively with a natural sweetness. Very smooth but robust blend. I will definitely be buying this again.
