8 Tasting Notes
This is my first tea from Teavana and I’m pretty impressed. The scent is strong and delicious coconut, chocolate, caramel goodness. The liquor is murky and I ended up with a ton of floaties but that didn’t bother me much. The flavor is light but maybe I need to add more tea… I’m going to try it next time with milk and sweetener, due to the fact that I couldn’t really taste the sea salt nor the caramel that much.
I drink this tea for energy, but that’s about it. I can’t say that I particularly enjoy the flavor.
Preparation
I’m drinking this tea as I type and I’m liking the mellowness. I have a feeling that I’ll prefer it with some vanilla soy milk, due to the fact that the vanilla flavor is very, very faint…it’s more of a straw"ish" note in my opinion, which I don’t mind. All in all I’m gonna drink this throughout the week and see whether I grow to adore it.
Preparation
Something about Numi tea makes me feel special. I feel proud walking out of the grocery store with a new box, then whenever I get to work the next day I show it off to my coworkers and make everyone sniff it, and they probably hate me. Anyways, I love this tea so much. When I first opened the packet, the first thing I noticed was how deep and luxurious the scent was, and I wanted to eat the bag. I didn’t do that however, and instead drank it like intended and enjoyed it thoroughly. It’s smooth, earthy, and overall yummy. I have yet to try it with soy milk which I intend to do soon.
