From Teavana

Totally refreshing, this flavored white tea is crisp, clean and the perfect cool antidote to beat the heat. Juicy watermelon, brisk peppermint and soothing, stimulating eucalyptus mix marvelously with notes of pineapple, tangerine and berries, creating a minty, juicy chiller that will keep you calm and collected no matter how high the mercury rises.

Ingredients: White tea, cantaloupe melon pieces, pineapple pieces, papaya pieces, hibiscus flowers, apple pieces, flavoring, lemon grass, honeydew melon pieces, blackberries, tangerine pieces, pineapple chips, eucalyptus leaves, raspberries, raspberry pieces, lime pieces.

Bright and light melon flavour with an herbal/menthol undertone and a hint of lime zest. Reminds me of watermelon Hubba Bubba bubble gum when I was a kid, in the best way! This tea is wonderful iced! Beautiful and refreshing, a perfect blend that I would be happy drinking all day long in the summer heat!

Despite the 6+ inches of snow outside right now, I enjoyed this iced tea. I made it last night (and put it in the fridge overnight) with about 5 tsp of tea and 2-3 tsp of rock sugar for ~32 oz of water. Apparently this tea doesn’t actually have any watermelon in it, but the mix of fruit they used does taste a bit like watermelon. The amount of sugar was perfect; this tea was fruity and sweet without tasting artificial or syrupy.

I have had this tea for a while and I really wanted to like it. It wasn’t a cheap tea.

So I got it and honestly I have not been all that impressed with it. It’s very weak watermelon flavour paired with floral, which is something I don’t care for. I have tried this one both hot and cold. Today it’s cold and I just… I don’t like it. Anyways, I think I’m going to say goodbye to this one even though I have a bit of it left. Oh well. Wow! I think Teavana has a new favorite. This white tea is absolutely not only super yummy, but visually appealing as well as, well, borderline drooling. This is white tea, so therefore a lil bit more tea leaves need to be used since they are rolled up. Please use the perfectea spoon to get all the fruit goodness. The watermelon is extremely very much like watermelon, and the mint leaves a good after taste. I recommend this tea either as an ‘after-a-long-day-at-work’ tea, or nighttime. Ideal for summer. I have not tried this as iced, yet.

Bear in mind that if you use less spoonfuls that normal, you won’t get as much of a watermelon flavor than the spearmint… I have been told by people that this tea tastes like gum, but I think that’s because they didn’t really either A) steep it correctly, or B) they’re not a fan of mint. Kind of pricier than most, but still very yummy. I most certainly recommend this if you decide to splurge! =^-^=

Cheers!

Love this tea! I usually sweeten my teas quite a bit, but I find this one doesn’t need any at all. One of my favorite teas!

This one isn’t bad. I was expecting this to be heavier on the mint (it was a pleasant surprise that it wasn’t, for me anyways). I like the cooling feeling that the mint and eucalyptus provide. I think this would be a very pleasant iced tea.

Sipdown! 109/365!

Regretfully, I didn’t sample this one in its prime. However, I think I would have enjoyed it – the only issue I had with it when I finished it recently was that there was that gross stale flavour that I’ve noticed in multiple older fruit teas. Otherwise, the flavour was pretty pleasant. Not overly tart, somewhat melony, quite generic fruity. No mint except for perhaps a cooling sensation when drinking it. Likely a good iced tea choice.

derk

Holy list of ingredients! No wonder it was generic fruity.

This is mostly fruity, with a hint of mint. There is very little actual tea flavor, as is common with Teavana blends, but I still enjoy it. I think I would adore it if the mint were stronger. As it is, it is sweet, not very sour, and a bit mild fruit flavor, but that is what eating watermelon is like. I definitely prefer this iced.

Steeped cold for iced tea. I liked it but it has a definite bitter aftertaste that was off putting.
