From DAVIDsTEA

It can’t be helped. As soon as the seasons start to change, we crave all things pumpkin. Whether it’s baked into pies or steeped into lattes, it’s the fall taste we come back to again and again. And in this richly spiced black tea blend, we take pumpkin and spice to a whole new level. With hints of molasses, currants and a touch of garam masala, it’s a warm and cozy hug in a cup. Limited edition.

Yum! Made this with a little honey and milk and it was delicious. Quite enjoyed my cup. Did a swap on here some time ago with EmilyGee and she kindly sent me this as a sample. (Thank-you Emily!) The flavour reminds me of pumpkin pie and I LOVE pumpkin pie so what could be better than that?! Only had enough loose tea to do one tea bag so this will be re-steeped and I will savour every sip!

Enjoyed this as a latte today. The pumpkin flavour was great. But I think I like Pumpkin Chai as the latte form better. I felt like I was missing the spices in this tea. haha oh goodness… Anyways, a very good tea and I will enjoy it :)

I was disappointed when the fall collection first came along, because of Pumpkin Chai. My recent switch to veganism made it so that I couldn’t try P Chai (damn you caramel!!!!). But David is always looking out for me and blessed me with this darling tea. It was everything I needed and more; pumpkin bliss and molasses heaven. Beautiful latte, beyond perfect. I was heartbroken I was only able to buy so much before we sold out. I do find it’s similar to another tea in my cupboard (Red Velvet Cake), but I still adore it.

Like drinking a spice cabinet. And where is the pumpkin? I can’t detect any pumpkin at all. I’m thinking maybe it’s because it was bullied into submission by all the weird spice flavors in the tea. Obviously not a fan. This was part of the pumpkin tea set of three offered by David’s last fall, and the last one I tried. That’s what I get for buying a set instead of individual teas, but it was so tempting and cute. Their Pumpkin Chai is near perfect for me when I want that kind of autumnal, pumpkin and spice flavor, so I guess I should stick to that tea in the future. Anyone want an 80g (minus three teaspoons, give or take) tin of this stuff? Please let me know. Otherwise, into the trash it goes.

So… this is one of the tea I got as one of my three frequent steeper free 50g bags of tea. The other one is Earl Grey cream and I haven’t decided on the third one yet (suggestions are welcome :) I also have a 20$ gift card that my cousin gave me for Christmas which makes me really excited, haha!
I was surprised this tea was still being sold and since I’m a sucker for anything pumpkin I jumped on the occasion! I’m completely in love with Pumpkin Chai but I only have 3 or 4 cups left from my 100g tin so I figured this would make a nice replacement…
It’s slightly spicier than Pumpkin Chai I think, but it really tastes like pumpkin. I still think I prefer Pumpkin Chai but this definitely makes a delicious warming pumpkin drink!

This tea was decent. I purchased it in the DAVIDsTEA pumpkin collection (it came with Pumpkin Chai and Pumpkin Cheesecake). For me, this tea didn’t live up to the other two. The first time I tried it I really liked it. After a second cup of it on a new day (fresh cup, not just re-steeped), I found the currant scent really strong. Although I didn’t taste the currants as strongly as I smelled them, the smell alone was too much for me to handle. I tried having it a couple more times afterwards (I had quite a large tin to use up!) but it just wasn’t working for me. I ended up giving the rest of it to my friend.
If the currants weren’t so strong this would be great.

Okay…. what the FUCK did you just do America????

I need a tea to soothe my nerves and this fit the bill. I love the sweet pumpkin and molasses flavour and the delicately spicy undertone. I should try this as a latte. …..And pretend yesterday night didn’t happen.

This has been my FAVORITE of the fall teas this year. I love pumpkin anything, and despite the lack of actual pumpkin in this, it’s an amazing blend. The garam masla is an excellent touch. It’s a more complex taste instead of just a basic cinnamon/clove type chai. Its far more appealing and flavourful than the pumpkin chai. The best part about it is that the tea is not buried in additives. The flavour of the tea in this shines through and balances out perfectly with the fruits and spices blended in. I love doing a little dab of pure maple syrup into a cup of this too to give it a little extra sweetness. This is just the tea I needed to start my fall season off right, and I’m carrying it through to winter.

Santea Clause Traveling Tea Box

Wonderful aroma – parents agree! Nice pumpkin flavoring with some cinnamon. Leaves a bit of spice in the back of the throat. It’s bit weak with one teaspoon of leaf, so I’d use 1.5 next time.

Not really sure for a restock on this one.

Was really surprised on the garam masala in this one, but I found it too overpowering in this one. Don’t taste anything in this tea that would qualify as a “Pumpkin” tea.

Edit (July 17, 2015): Had it again this morning and, looking back on my old review, it’s not that bad. I may have another before I can decide if it’s worth more of my time.
