Bad colds require great interventions. Take this tea, for example. It’s a deliciously soothing mix of peppermint, juniper berries and orange peel. Pretty great, right? If that’s not extreme enough for you, you could try eating raw garlic, or gargling salt water, or inhaling lots of steam. Yeah…we didn’t think so. Probably better just to stick to the tea. With its soothing citrus and mint aroma we can’t guarantee miracle results, but at least we can guarantee it tastes great. (MK Kosher)

Ingredients: Organic: peppermint, juniper berries, orange peel. With natural eucalyptus and orange oil.

As far as medicinal teas go, this one is really drinkable. I tend to have it if I have a sore throat or a cold and really enjoy it, even if I’m unwell, which can change your palette.

There’s lots of minty, eucalyptus, citrus-y type flavours, and while the juniper berries don’t do much other than smell nice, they do give the tea an aniseed undertone that’s very nice.

I like how fragrant this tea is and how it’s hard to over-steep. Lovely on a cold day when you’re feeling a bit run down.

Sipdown no. 7 of April 2019 (no. 56 of 2019 total, no. 544 grand total). A sample.

I got a second sample of this when I ordered some cute little glass cups to replace one that broke.

And now that I have some really unpleasant congestion going on, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to have this. This time around, I get a bit of everything, even the orange.

But my original description was pretty spot on. So I’m sticking with it.

Ok so this did remind me of vicks vapor rub…but in a really good way. Very soothing. I enjoyed it and it fended off a headache I was fighting most of the day. Even my hubby who is in no way as keen on tea as I am asked me to order more. This is one to have hot only.

I’m using this tea to head off the cold and sore throat I can feel creeping up on me. The mint and eucalyptus immediately made my throat feel better. It’s not an every day kind of tea, but it’s definitely my go-to for a cold. Imagine that.

This is a great tea to sip on when you’re sick. I woke up with a killer sore throat and this is quite soothing. It’s very minty, medicinal and the eucalyptus is really nice. Just what I needed. I added some honey and ginger to it, perfection!

I’m still alive but not fully functioning right now. Just want people to know that they haven’t been forgotten. Parcels will be sent out soon when everything I touch doesn’t become plague-ridden.

I hope you feel better soon. Here too, I have some sort of wonky on and off again lingering thing. Ugh.

I’m almost better. I hope you feel better soon too! Some of the things going around this season have been brutal!

The two parcels I should’ve sent out two months ago are more brutal though. arrgh

Evol Ving Ness

I’m much better. Thank you.

The parcels, of course, can wait. Take care of you and the rest will come. You can usually count on tea people having plenty of tea to occupy themselves with before the new teas roll in.

We had some eggnog a couple of weeks ago and I added a splash to this tea and it was really tasty. It was sweet and custardy but the eucalyptus also came through and it was an interesting combo that I would repeat again in winter.

This tea is a very tasty and soothing treat! The eucalyptus flavour is quite prominent at first, but if you leave the tea to steep longer, the citrus and mint notes eventually balance out the eucalyptus. It’s a bit indistinct flavour-wise, but very enjoyable after it has steeped for a while. I recommend at least 7 to 10 minutes to really get a full flavour.

This tea is awesome when I’m sick but the rest of the time I don’t really drink this tea. It’s strongly medicinal.

At first I didn’t like this tea at all… But I only turn to it when I have a cold, and it grew on me because it became really soothing… I only rely on sample because I don’t need it that often, only when I’m sick, which I am right now unfortunately. It’s mainly peppermint and citrusy.
