316 Tasting Notes
When I tried this in store, I was like meh – because it tasted similar to the older tea, Ginger Beer… But trying this again at home it is great! I can really taste the vanilla this time, which definitely makes it different. I actually really like this one. It’s a good balance between the ginger, fruit and vanilla. I’m going to have to order some.

It’s been a while since I reviewed a tea, so here we go. The most anticipated tea of this entire year for me! I only recently got into sweet potato, and when I heard of this, I was very intrigued and excited to get my hands on some. I waited forever for it to become available on the Canadian website. Just got it today and am trying it already. I just steeped a hot cup for about 5 minutes, and added a bit of sugar. It’s really nice – different. I definitely taste the squash, cinnamon, and other spices in there. I’m also catching a bit of that marshmallow taste. Lastly I get that pecan in the aftertaste. This is good hot, but will be amazing as a latte! It’s basically a cup of Fall.
Flavors: Butternut Squash, Cinnamon, Marshmallow, Nutty, Pecan, Spices

I wasn’t sure about this tea, but it’s for Valentines, so I got it. It has a very light and delicate taste. I mostly taste the rose and green tea, although I’m getting some of the chocolate in the after taste. Not bad. I think I’ll try steeping at 85 degrees next time.
Flavors: Chocolate, Rose
Preparation
I mainly ordered this tea because of the honeydew melon in it. I have to say, the loose leaf smells a little strange. Almost like chamomile or something, but then there’s the fruit. I steeped this in my new ‘The Wall’ mug, which I put the leaves directly into the cup and the ‘wall’ on the inner part of the mug strains it as I drink. It’s pretty cool. Anyway, I have it steeping the entirety of drinking it, and I think that works with this tea, since it is herbal. I definitely taste the floralness, but also the fruitiness. The longer it’s been steeping, the more fruity it is, and I really like it. I think it would be a great iced tea as well – provided you could steep it a long time… Maybe coldsteep? Anyway. Glad I got this tea.

Sipdown. I kinda wish they would bring back this tea – it’s really good. I like the cranberry and star anise notes! Overall it’s kinda fruity and ‘festive’ from the spices.. Good for this time of year for sure. I’ll be sad when its gone.

This. May just be my new favourite. Such a warming cinnamon and orange flavour. I also love the fact that this is an oolong. Meaning I can definitely resteep it a second time! :)
I love the orange and spice notes! I will definitely grab a full tin of this one!

So, today was a good day for tea. My friend gave me a big bag full of teas she didn’t have space for anymore. This was one of them! I hadn’t tried this one yet, and it smelled really good. Tasting it now, it is good! Lovely cinnamon and other spices right up there to make a wonderful chai! I do see why others have compared it to cinnamon hearts. Kind of like Hot Lips tea, but not a green tea. Which is really great actually! I don’t really taste the coconut much, but I think all the ingredients blend together well. I did add some sugar, which I believe brings out the flavours even more so. I really love this one!
Flavors: Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Ginger, Spices

Wow, this one smells spicy! Definitely chai. Finally got around to trying my sample of this tea today, and I’m having it as a hot latte, with cinnamon on top – and my, is it delicious. Such a warming treat on a cold snowy night like tonight. I steeped it for 3.5 mins and added some sugar, and its really good. I can’t really pick out each individual spice, but overall its a great blend, making a perfect chai latte. I definitely need to buy some on my next online order!
